Pac's being a child as usual, fan as I am.

Freddies fair in his comments really, fan as one is. He's not really one for pointless critique or drama's so people need to stop giving so many bye's to the p4p #1, and more the #1 trainer.

Freddie should grow some balls and put down the law. If he wants his training to be in Mexico then he can make his fighter train there. Its Freddie that has the final say, Manny needs Freddie, although Freddie loves the money, but there's no way that Manny drops Freddie if Freddie stands by his morals and demands that training camp be held outside of Phillipines. I dont think Freddie is that concerned about the distractions, its more about his loyalty to his other fighters, remember he has other stars, up and comers, future champs that he owes his service too, by leaving for PI for 8 weeks he leaves his other fighters without their real trainer and some who have some important bouts coming up very soon (i.e. Vanes Martirosyan on 10/10). This is a really tough balancing act for Freddie and having been up close to him on several occasions i know this is killling him because he's letting down his other fighters, fighters that he considers his kids and cares for them very very much. wouldnt wanna be in Freddie's shoes, but I think I would stand my ground and try to convince Manny otherwise.

Pac doesnt NEED Freddy to train him. Just about every trainer in the world would be head over heels to train Pac.

If Pac wants to WIN however.....then yes....Pac needs Roach.

Your statement makes absolutely no sense!!! you first say Pac doesnt need Roach to train, but then you say if Pac wants to win he Roach... Which one is it??? obviously Pac doesnt wanna lose as we all know there's so much on the line then his boxing career, hes got all kinds of political and acting ambitions and a loss doesnt help!!!
Before Roach Manny was just another fighter, now he's the p4p king. Does anyone reading this actually believe that Manny couldve gotten there without Freddie? Eventhough Freddie can use the money, he's not broke and has plenty of $$$ and I wouldnt be surprised if he Roach blows a fuse and says **** it, its eitther my way or the highway. actually i would love for that to happen to see what all you manny nuthuggers have to say. Manny will crawl to wherever Freddie tells him training is gonna be. does he really wanna hire a new no-name trainer for the toughest fight of his career, or the other alternative, he just retires or claims some bogus injury to delay the fight.
Freddie for the sake of his principles and his other fighters shouldn't fold to Manny's demands and should stand up to that douchebag Michael Koncz!!!

Without even reading your post....I'm just tellin it like it is. Pacquiao doesnt NEED Freddy to train him. But he will lose with any other trainer besides Roach. And if that's what he wants....that's his perogative and he's certainly free to do so.

Pac has no respect for freddy not even taking his calls and making talk to his assistant. Freddy should just quit so when pac loses he can make it seem it was because of him not being there. And if they really piss him off he can go train Cotto

Agree with you. he will lose without Roach. I sure hope that happens, i wish these two have a bitter training camp and Manny loses and Freddie leaves him, hahaha

Wont hurt his stature as bad you think it will. Bein Manny Pacquiao all he would have to do is snap his fingers to get another top notch trainer like Mcgirt or one of the Mayweathers or Stewart, or *gasp* I think the best fit for Pacquiao without Roach would be Enzo Calzaghe to be honest.

His career will never be the same without Roach however. But it's already on its last legs as is anyway so in the bigger scheme of things it really wont do much. It'll just be Cotto, then Marquez if he loses or Mayweather if he wins. Possibly Mosley if he keeps winning and really wants to stretch it out even further but that's as far as it goes before callin it a career.

manny pays freddie, so manny is the boss.
                    freddie goes where manny goes.
maybe 4-5 weeks before they transfer to wild card.
baguio city is familiar ground to manny....mexico or ba***** is unchartered water.

there is nothing wrong between manny and freddie...posters here are just speculating.
but then, freddie's major concern is when the training starts, not where!!
freddie is worried they won't get the 8 weeks for lack of definite training venue.
distractions will be there...anywhere they train.
freddie is just worried there may be more in the phils....yet to be seen, though.

baguio it is....8 solid weeks it will be!!
                    :boobies:
