Ufc has 8 of the top 10, boxing only has two. I was shocked when I saw this, I expected boxing to dominate the top 10 PPV events. Are we seeing a turning point between the two sports? Especially when it’s now becoming worse with the best not fighting the best, it’s happening all the time in boxing now even with fighters who are game to fight like AJ and fury.

Ufc also getting a lot more coverage now in mainstream media when before this didn’t used to be the case.

In the UFC, the best have to fight the best. In boxing, the best can make millions fighting tomato cans, and the fans turn into scholars who explain, justify, and rationalize the ducking norm that is killing the sport. You will see more athletes migrate from boxing to the UFC as the money dries up in this dying sport.

Boxing has 4 in that list... Mayweather vs Pacquiao, Mayweather vs McGregor, Mayweather vs Canelo, and Mayweather vs Cotto. Please get your eyes checked.

The list is inaccurate my brotha, it's missing Mayweather-De La Hoya, Tyson-Holyfield I & II, Tyson-Lewis, and every Tyson fight

I think boxing still has the lions share of the top 10 PPVs if we are talking all time. But the UFC has been generating more total buys per year most years since around 2007 due to its relative consistency, and after Floyd/Pac happened its been producing most of the biggest PPV fights too.

That's Tapology, a prediction/record keeping site. They only started including boxing a few years ago and most events that happened before they added it are not available.

De La Hoya vs Mayweather - 2.4 mil
Holyfield vs Tyson II - 2 mil
Lewis vs Tyson - 2 mil
Lesnar vs Mir II - 1.6 mil
Tyson vs Holyfield - 1.6 mil
Tyson vs McNeeley - 1.55 mil
Pacquiao vs Marquez III - 1.4 mil
Holyfield vs Foreman - 1.4 mil
De La Hoya vs Trinidad - 1.4 mil
Mayweather vs Mosley - 1.4 mil

Etc., etc., you get the point. Boxing still dominates the history of the PPV market. Awful biased list you posted there, pal.

                - -U goin' full grrly giggly on us now?

Boxing still generates the revenue fights. UFC the cheap giggly on da block racking up mo' 25 cents a pop whereas boxing the dream gal racking up the big all night spender.

Inaccurate list and I definitely suspect UFC’s numbers are bogus.

If you’re doing such great numbers why are your fighters still earning peanuts? Makes no sense.

                    McGregor-Porier didn’t do 1.8, thats international numbers.

                    In America it did 1.3.

But they’re trying to spin it like it did 1.8, but, I didn't.
