The same way linares hurt Haney more. But Haney was a clear winner. It's not just decided on hurt. That's only a thing if you actually stop your opponent. If you don't then you need to outbox and outscore him.

I had castano winning at least 6 of the first 8 rounds ...besides the 2nd round Charlotte never won a round until the 9th ...yeah he pulled it back but he didn’t do enough to catch up with castano and that judge scoring 117-111 for Charlotte should be strung up in public.

Charlo lost that fight, no way did he deserve to walk away with the belts. He fought like he didn’t want to win unless he landed a big punch and then would flail away in a sloppy manner. Terrible showing from Charlo

Before this fight Charlo was trying to talk his way into the HOF and on to the pound for pound list. He doesn't deserve either. He was outworked, plain and simple. Boxing is scored round by round. You don't win rounds by posing and looking threatening. The judges wanted to give the fight to Charlo, but couldn't justify it. That's how it ended up being a draw. Rematch? Yeah, in Argentina.
