Oh yeah Floyd Mayweather was not sitting on the p4p throne for years? RJJ? Hopkins? Terrance Crawford? Errol Spence? Mike Tyson? Andre Ward? James Toney? I can keep going if you'd like. Stop the race baiting to push a nonsense narritive. It all comes down to opinion but all these guys are undeniable during their eras in the sport. Usyk became undisputed and cleaned out his division with ease. GGG I would listen that argument. However I think that Harrison loss took some steam out for Jermell's arguement. Tonight he will certainly have to crack the list with a win.

Jermell is cool and has fought and beaten solid comp, Jermall on the other hand is a straight up duck and refuses to fight anyone with a pulse.

I think it has more to do with not securing and winning high profile marquee fights. I think they have the skill, they just need to prove it against someone that matters.

Honestly he does have a good resume. 154 is a really good division. Would have enjoyed him fighting Lara but it seems they never even called each other out.

Or maybe it's because they only have bums and tomato cans on their resumes? Any opponent with a pulse gets robbed like Korobov did. As for Usyk and GGG, Usyk only cleaned out his entire division with ease, on the road for every fight, and GGG was avoided more than accurate voter registration in dem **** holes across America for almost a decade. The only people avoiding a fight with anyone named Charlo is his twin brother. Next time just ask for reparation money or something cuz your race baiting got you nowhere boy...

Well after tonight 1 of 2 things should happen. Either Mell breaks through the top 7 or Castano breaks into the top 10. Like Mell or not, he has been fighting good opposition. The same cannot be said for Jermall. Not for one minute do I believe that it has a damn thing to do with personality nor race. With that said, it is about time to break up the P4P list. It seems to have gotten quite stale over the last few months/years.
I will say this- I believe that Jermell is much better than a few that are there now. Truly who gives a fu(kk about what a subjective list to begin with.

no he doesnt. usky beat 3 of the top ranked fighters in the division. ggg beat 3 of the top 4 best if you count the canelo win which most people do. charlo beat 1 who was rosario who got there through a domino effect of mediocrity. ggg has twice as many top 10 wins as charlo and usyk has many but with much better quality. also charlo lost to harrison although it could have gone either way but then again the vanes fight could have gone either way for charlo which tells you his performances aren't scintillating. usyk is undefeated and the 2nd canelo fight could have gone either way for ggg but canelo and harrison? different class. if he beats castano he will be closer for sure but his resume is nowhere near theirs

Boxing has never been a sport of the affluent or the highly educated and certainly not the sport of men born to pedigree….quite the contrary, it has generally been the sport of those raised in poverty and squalor all over the world. I highly doubt that young Charlo’s inability to communicate in Received Pronunciation scored high on a list of p4p requirements….
