Some boxing fans are so lazy, overweight and unhealthy that a career pro boxer walking around the weight they campaign in sounds like a lie to their fat ass lol. When I was actively sparring as a kid into my teens I was always at the same weight I sparred in. It’s called being healthy and disciplined. Bunch of overweight lazy fcks.

The only way to find out if what he sys is true is to have strict VADA testing and see if he can still make the weight easy and rehydrate easy. I temember he said he used to walk around 162/163. 155 is interesting.

In the words of Jerret Hurd “I blow up to 190, but I make 154 “Easy”. I’m really a natural 147lb’er”. Then comes VADA vs Williams. Now it’s “It’s getting harder and harder to make weight, I’m such a big Jnr Middle” and proceeds to get pummelled.

I'm always in awe by how different they are, personality wise. I don't know this for sure but I feel as if Mell is the more self-assured/confident one. Not to say Mall isn't, but he may need more outside positive reinforcement whereas Mell is his own hype man lol.

As for the weight thing, I wonder once Spence moves up, will it become more of an issue? Ideally, I don't think they want to step on each other's toes.

The man has unified the 154 division, is going to fight for the total unification, has looked good in every fight, says that he can make 154 easy but some here insist that he is struggling or has to move up. Boxing fans are the worst. Right now he is more accomplished than his brother.

If he will continue fighting this level of competition, I think he could go up one division... don't you think?

I think that's the norm in amateur boxing - I certainly always fought at the weight I walked around at. I was in shape, but you don't have to be in shape to fight at your walk-around weight in amateur boxing. At the lower levels especially, pretty much nobody is cutting weight.

No. Just no. Boxers will generally dehydrate to the lowest class they can make without beomg affected. If jermell walked around at 155 he’d be able to dehydrate and fight at 140 & 147 EASILY.
Use common sense bro...there is HUGE names and huge fights at 140 & 147.... jermell would be fighting there in a heartbeat if he could make the weight. He can’t. I bet jermell’s walk around weight (which means when not in a training camp) is around 170.
For gods sake Crawford rehydrates from 140 to 160 come fight night and he competes 2 divisions below him lol u think Crawford is physically bigger than jermell charlo???
