    Is Tyson Fury just unlucky?

Fury has a history of controversy around him. That much isn't up for debate.

Cancelled fights, avoided rematches, mental health problems, drink and drugs, weight gain, COVID, inactivity, PED Bans, UKAD Court proceedings, Wild Boar balls, arbitration hearings, cheating allegations.

My sense is that many in the UK knew what Fury was about, but after the first Wilder fight he was reinvented for the US market. And they lapped it up.

Everyone has had a good look at him now. You know his history and you've seen him in action.

So is he just an unlucky and misunderstood individual? Or is it all his own fault?

Fury is similar to Trump in the sense that he can do all kinds of immoral, unethical things and somehow his fans will spin it and say he is a great man. As of right now, theres no arguing with a Fury fan because logic does not compute with them. Fury gets Covid and then beats it within a week? No. Lies. 0 title defenses? They will say he is somehow lineal champion. Even though you can't keep that title after "retiring" like Fury did. And do definitely don't keep it after getting caught on PEDs. But again, they will spin it. Mental health issues? Only when he needs it. Like right now on his Twitter. He is pulling that card out again to gain sympathy. But I think fight fans are starting to see through him. Guys were arguing two months ago, saying that the arbitration was expired. Just because Fury said so. He's been wrong on so many things. Yet, to his fans, he can do no wrong. I will say it again, I think he retires before October 9th because he has run out of excuses.

I think he just wanted to fight Joshua and call it a career. He probably doesn't have any motivation to fight wilder again. He should just retire if that's the case.
