Just seems like a pointlessly negative thread. You can play that game with anybody
Winky was overrated, got beatdown by Vasquez and random nobody Harry Simon, won his vacant title vs random Robert Frazier, the best opponent he defended against was past prime McKart who he had already beaten so what was the point? Then unifies with Shane who was always unimpressive above 147, Shane's decision over DLH at 154 was a robbery, so another overrated win. Also Shane was on roids when he beat DLH but clean for Winky so Winky fought a weaker version. Vargas was ruined by Tito so DLH beating him means nothing. Also Shane was tailor made for Winky.
^I don't believe all that, but just giving an example of how you can be pessimistic about Winky same as with Charlo or any fighter. Also unfair to compare retired greats with active fighters. Charlo, Castano or one of the guys they've beaten could still go on to greatness, we don't know. The winner of this unification could go on to beat Bud, Spence if they move up. They might go to 160 and beat Golovkin more impressively than Canelo did.
There is so much ducking in boxing, but these 2 guys have gone after the hard opponents over and over again, appreciate them because few boxers are doing what they do. You have 20 threads complaining about Tank's opposition but then criticise the guys facing the toughest challenges as well.
