This fight will be hard to sell because GGG hasn't really been doing anything since after September 2018.

Rolls, Derevyanchenko, Szeremeta. And some think he went 2-1 there. And the two wins were vs unknowns.

Canelo beat Jacobs, Saunders, Kovalev, Smith and two gimme fights. Became a 4-weight champion, got The Ring title at 168, in the same span. It seems like he has been working with no time off for sure. Like clockwork. GGG appears to have gone on vacation for 3 years which I don't blame him if he's in it for the money which it does appear more so than caring about "legacy" fights. Doesn't seem to be his MO. He made a lot of money from the two Canelo fights and enjoyed life.

    Just really hard to sell.

      - -No bigger fan of Golovkin than I, but he and Loeffler lost the plot in the whole Canelo fiasco and they ain't never been the same.

They should pay the fans to watch this one. This one is stale but an acceptable show for an app no one cares about.

If Canelo is concerned that he might not get that TKO (but only a wide UD), which in his eyes would sort of avenge the first fight (which he knows most people saw him lose), he will not fight GGG, or let him age 1-2 additional years until he can be absolutely sure that GGG will gas in the later rounds.

For the record, I thought GGG won the first and lost a slim decision in the second, the second one being closer to a draw than the first.
Great, I would be happy to bet. GGG ain't getting stopped. No way

              Lost. The. Plot. ????

Not sure what you mean. They have been pushing for the 3rd fight since the 2nd one ended. Canelo has CLEARLY been ducking it and for good reason.

Saul waited G out. Theres a reason he didnt want the trilogy right away, especially after how close both fights were. This 3rd fight is more for Saul fanboys than anything. Every other fan of boxing is "whatever" at this point.

Golovkin needs to speak with JMM, see if he can get line on some of that industrial strength Geritol JMM was on for his final fight with Pac.

Golovkin would be strong as **** if he didn't cut whatever weight to get to 160.
