I'm okay with it...still a better matchup than a canelo-plant fight. Besides, if pbc and plant are being difficult in negotiations then canelo should just abandon it.

I do think GGG puts up a better fight at 168 then at 160. He had much better snap at 164 then he's had at 160 in several years. Whether that's enough to beat Canelo, we might never know but of course you'd have to favor Canelo. I do think that what gave Golovkin problems in the rematch was Saul's output was much higher. Since then, his output has dropped pretty significantly, although he's setting up his shots really well and having more weight on his punches. A trilogy is still somewhat intriguing, albeit not as much as it would've been a couple years ago.Comment

I want to see it. The 2nd fight was one of the better fights I’ve seen EVER. Canelo has been looking good lately and GGG has been getting older but it’s still going to be a competitive close fight. That’s better than watching another blowout by either fighter.Comment

Would be a more action packed fight. GGG might look better at the weight. I think Canelo might stop him this time though.Comment

Canelo v GGG is always going to be a close fight, like Chocolatito vs Estrada or PAC v JMM, or Barrera, Morales...
reason is simpler: GGG is got just enough more power, but Canelo is almost there; Canelo is just enough the better boxer, but GGG is almost there
there is no beatdown of anyone; close fight. GGG can still need it; Canelo can still outbox himComment
