Resume to resume Thurman is better. Opponents for opponents Spence hasn't proved he's better than Thurman. I would've expected Spence to destroy D Garcia and Porter. He decisioned them just like Thurman lol. And they were more out of their primes against Spence than Thurman and he still couldn't beat them in a better fashion than Thurman. Using logic, which theres not alot on here with all the low IQ hood boys, you could see why Roach has come to that conclusion. Just on an eye test Thurman seems like the more slick intelligent fighter. Spence just seems like a come forward fighter

Errol dropped Porter, Thurman didn't. And there's a big difference in not having a KO in 3 years, as opposed to 8.

Spence does move his head. He just doesn’t do it much. Its not his main focus. It’s because he is very economical in his movement and he doesn’t waste energy. He’s very calculated in his approach.

What he likes to do when he defends, is catch and shoot behind a high guard. But against Pacquiao, I don’t think that will work as well. He would be well suited to move his head a lot more and not stay so stationary. It will be interesting to see if Spences changes his defense for Pacquiao.

I agree. Good points. Spence needs to adjust a bit of his game to suit Pac's game if he is to win, but that's a tall order. having to fight differently just for one man, when a fighter has already formed his way of fighting all these years is habit forming. If he really is deserving to win, those weaknesses that Roach sees, shouldn't be on fight night. Only time will tell.

This is the first time Roach made sense, Thruman is a better boxer he was actually the top guy before his year and half sabbatical due to injury and then spence took over as top dog. Spence on tape is one dimensional and robotic, but he makes up for it by being so much longer than his opponents, he is able to keep distance so they cant rush on him.

also what this shows me for the first time roach is actually watching tape again, this means they are taking the fight serious.

but pacquiaos age will show, there is no way he will get stamina again, he is now a five round fighter after that he tries to cruise, and spence will take over and brutally beat pacman down and walk him down like he did kell brook when he gassed. Brook had an impressive first three or four rounds and tired and spence took over and walked him down with punches later on.
