I get why they chose texas for this fight but Ortiz gets too overly excited when he fights in his home state. I want to see a more disciplined, more patient Ortiz, not the one that swings for the fences to get a KO. Hopefully better defense we see this time but Robert doesn’t seem to be the guy that can give him that

Curious to hear what Bud's gonna say when Ortiz takes out the Mean Machine.

I think hooker would probably beat kava. Still a good fight for ortiz though.

Fighting quality opposition, time in and time out as Vergil continues to do certainly helps to get them there. As the old saying goes “Iron sharpens Iron” and so far Vergil has impressed me more than Boots in that category. Let Boots fight a legit 147 lbs not a former light welterweight that’s tailored made for his style before you start with he’s ready for anyone none sense.
That's exactly what Vergil just fought, a former light Welterweight, but unlike Lipinets, Hooker got Ko'd at Light Welterweight b4 fighting Vergil! Vergil got hit way too much by Hooker! No bueno! Boots would light him up in 8! Like I said, Vergil needs work! Boots needs an opportunity! Levels!!!

Who has Ortiz fought that is better than Lipinets?

Lol, phuck outta here with that bs.

Ortiz fought a junior welterweight moving up in his last fight too, and that was considered the biggest test of his career.

Hooker, Orozco, Herrera, Vargas are far superior than Boots competition other than Lipinets can’t really name anyone he’s fought, TBH. Also, don’t forget that Vergil also came from 140 lbs didn’t start as a welterweight while Boots himself has said he’ll be moving up in weight for his next fight, so don’t expect him to last long @ 147 lbs.
Samuel Vargas had already been KO'd twice by Errol Spence and Danny Garica when Ortiz fought him and he aint ever been nothing more than a gate keeper anyway.

Phuck outta here with that bs who you think you talking to, casuals?

Mauricio Herrera? That guy was old and washed up as dirt and was never anything special anyway.

Hooker Is the only credible opponent Ortiz has beaten, and even then he pulled him uo to welterweight from a division down, coming from a KO loss to Ramirez.
