I got Jake. I’m not too familiar with Woodley other than having watched him a couple times in the UFC over the years.

I’m not high on Jake. I think the first time he fights a legit, skilled boxer he gets smashed.

Im not sure Woodley is that guy in the ring.

it's adapted to fit that sport... everything is different, distance, angles, timing... it's all different

hey, were you the guy who argued with me for days when I said the Jermain Taylor who fought Hopkins was... "excellent" ?

and that is saying something after following this sport for decades

Jake Paul is number 5... he is such a ***wit, I look forward to watching him get smashed up

As much as I hate to say it, it's a chance for a washed up fighter to take a dive and get a very nice payoff. That's my take on it. Just what Ben Askren did.

You’d be surprised how rudimentary some of the boxing training some of these high level guys get is. Adapting, particularly for distance and overall body positioning is necessary, but I’m talking about what’s being practiced and taught. Like I said, I trained with professional fighters and fundamentally, the boxing was bad, from the ground up.

I don’t recall what exactly you said about jermain Taylor, I remember it was ****** though.

This is 10x more dangerous than any fight that Jake has had. I expect him to get knocked out tbh. Woodley is athletic, quick, strong, decent chin, has quite a bit of power in that right hand and is used to using it against taller opponents.

that comes down to levels... there are average trainers in every sport, boxing included... especially at lower levels

a lot of guys are just mitt-men, not trainers... there is a big difference

top guys usually have better coaches, but they do not drill the traditional fundamentals because a lot of that does not work in MMA

so when MMA guys spar boxers they have to completely adjust their standup game, and that is very difficult when facing someone who has developed and honed traditional boxing instincts

and, you remember exactly what I said about Taylor fat-boy LMAO

I said the version of Taylor who fought Hopkins was a " excellent " fighter, and a difficult style matchup, despite the fact that Hopkins was a much better fighter... then you started insinuating that Taylor was a bum and a loser, and started spouting all kind of nonsense that I had to correct... and we ended up arguing for days over it, all because of your ignorance

you STRONGLY objected to me using the word... "excellent"... to describe Taylor... so you threw a spastic

I am absolutely positive that you remember what I said

                it was basically this...

"Hopkins is clearly a better fighter than Taylor but Taylor who was excellent just gave him fits."

I thought you said the version of Taylor who “beat” hopkins, which is arguable he didn’t to begin with, was “outstanding”. I recall saying no version of Taylor was ever “outstanding”, or something to that effect. I don’t really give a damn one way or the other, but I stand by that. It was more about what hopkins wasn’t doing than what Taylor was doing. Hopkins stepped it up a couple notches late and was battering a befuddled Taylor around the ring... “outstanding” doe...

no, pretty sure it was excellent

but, describe for me... in great detail... the difference between excellent and outstanding
