I'll watch the 3rd fight, if it happens. Marquez in fight 4 was fighting a fellow old fighter though, not an age 30 prime Pacquiao. Regardless, hopefully GGG juices up like Marquez did.
Fellow old fighter? What the fçk are you talking about? Pacquiao was 32 when he got KTFO in Marquez 4.

I think GGG bit off more than he can chew. I think the reason why GGG been quiet is
his new regimen with Banks. Remember not long ago Abel’s Blue Chip Martin got caught with the roids… with GGG no longer with Abel he’s been looking different. GGG scared of VADA. He doesn’t want to pop. Problem hiding in a closet biting his nails wishing he never criticized Canelo for the Clenbo! That’s what BJS did and look what happened. With GGG’s juice, even couldn’t do SNAC as an alternative, the Kazakh been missing

Canelo will be 31 next week.
Pac was actually days away from being 34 when he got KOd, and Marquez had just turned 39. Those two are about 5 years in age apart, close to half the 8 years age difference between Canelo & GGG.
[QUOTE=-Kev-;n30998880]Almost nobody on Earth is calling for GGG vs any opponent. No one cares.
Almost everyone wants to play matchmaker with Canelo though. “Oh he needs to fight Beterbiev to prove himself to me!”.
Nobody cares about who GGG is picking to fight. He became kind of like Crawford, but with a better resume than Crawford. Much better resume.
When you’re at the top and all critics have to say is how the fighter can’t carry SRL or Henry Armstrong’s spit bucket or some other nonsense bringjng up past ATG’s; that means you made it big and fans recognize this. They want you to fight the best 10 out of 10 times. His critics know deep inside that he is so good that he needs to, in their eyes, deliberately seek losses. Like at this point his critics would take even a DQ win over Canelo.
Now I am not saying that GGG can’t catch fans/media attention again by fighting some top fighters. Just saying, no one is expecting GGG to do that. Nobody is calling for rematches vs fighters who arguably beat him, Derevyanchenko or Jacobs (no robbery just close fights that could have gone either way). But Canelo has to rematch GGG, fight Beterbiev, fight Bivol, and fight Benavidez.
Critics demanding more out of Canelo than they are demanding of GGG just shows you who the superior fighter is.
With all that said, I do think GGG is an excellent fighter, very dangerous and technically sound, obviously. A top 1- 3 MW from 2012 to present, you have to be really good. Plain and simple. And I want to see a trilogy. But Canelo clearly gets held to higher standards by media/critics.
Canelo critics did not pressure GGG to go up to 168, a second weight class in his career, to fight Ward. They were heavily against GGG taking that possible L. But Canelo is supposed to take on the Avengers.[/QUOTE
Canelo critics didn't pressure Canelo to move up in weight from 160 either and when he did move up he used weight manipulation to help him along. Canelo has been using his box offfice draw to get weight concessions. Now the guy who said he was too small for Golovkin has said he won't fight at 160 anymore. It's hard to take his title runs seriously.

Canelo never said he was “small,” ever. Just like any other boxer making a choice for the weight they want to campaign in, like GGG, the Mexican reserved the right however he moved. What’s funnier is that GGG said “154-168 is for me” back in 2013. What the hell did he mean by that is why he’s always been viewed at as a clown. Whereas Canelo never said no such thing. Canelo back in 2013-2015 is nowhere as big as he is now. Like many multi weight champs, many take years to milk out out their final destination so it’s nothing new. Just like Lil’G fans claimed Canelo was “hiding” before 160 can be said the same to GGG for never going to 168, but the Lil’G fans will come up with any explanation to exempt him. This is why Caneloweight is at least original. Lara, Kirkland and Angulo all fought at 155+ many more times than when Canelo even got there, so he was doing those fighters a favor in not cutting to 154. The context is Canelo’s opposition for the guys who fought at 155, not just Canelo. Idiots think Kirkland, Angulo or Lara couldn’t compete at 160 at the time…
so as you can see, Canelo told Fight Hype in 2015 that if GGG wanted to fight it would be at his weight or stipulation. There was no bigger fight for GGG. But “154-168 is easy for me.”
Before Marquez 4, did anybody envision PAC going to sleep in such a manner?
if this fight happens it happens at 168. GGG will be stronger. Maybe GGg fans can be hopeful that Canelo takes a knee? Is Marquez only capable of miracles?
maybe GGG needs to go and hire memo?? will the nelo fan feel salty about it doe?
No one was demanding a 4th JMM fight. But lets face it, the three prior were non-stop fireworks. That's what fans want. JMM also had more in the tank at that point in his career (with a little help from the tainted meat), and Canelo has moved on to 168/175. Why would Canelo fans even care if he fights GGG again? According to them, there is nothing left to prove. Now he can move up to fight Beterbiev, Zurdo, or whoever.

easy breezy
As much as you hate the LDBC you sure do like to revise history and ignore as much context as possible don't you?
GGG said 154-168 in 2012 to secure big fights with anyone from 154-168 but literally no one took the bait. That includes your man crush Canelo. WARD didn't even want the fight until 2015!
If you wanna talk about excuses then Canelo fanboys are the guy to talk to.
Oh, Canelo is too small, GGG is so big, the fight has to be at 155
Oh, Canelo didn't drop the WBC belt to avoid GGG, he hates the WBC
Oh, Canelo is still green, he needs to fight Amir Khan and Chavez Jr before fighting GGG
Oh, the judges aren't corrupt (118-110)
Oh, Canelo didn't use PEDs
Oh, jabs aren't real punches. They only count as 1 point and a power punch is 15 points
Oh. Canelo isn't afraid of GGG and is easy! Easily the biggest fight available but, I'm not fighting outside Vegas against GGG
Oh, Canelo is a growing man! But somehow literally can't make 160 despite being so small for it just a short 3 years ago lmfao.
Oh, Canelo wants to fight GGG again! YEARS later
Lmfao. You pretend like Pac fans are GGG fans but no one fits the Pac role more than YOU
Oh, Canelo is younger than Pac was in Marquez 4 but still wanted the fight to finally get a decisive victory over Marquez. It's good to know that GGG is living rent free in your head though lmfao.
Maybe at 40 years old Canelo can finally secure that win because he wasn't doing it when GGG was 33,34,35,36,37....GGG at 40 is a beast right? Lmfao.
And just like Kovalev you'll all pretend Canelo beat the Krusher from 2013 right??? Lmfao
