Cut the ****, Oscar. It’s not that big a fight so no need to marinate anything. Let’s see that fight next. After Ryan wins by highlight reel KO he must go after a Tank, Haney or Teo.

Even if he wanted to keep Diaz off of him there’s nothing coming in return for applying constant pressure.
I don’t necessarily buy into the whole he doesn’t have enough power to keep Diaz off him. That was the same narrative some people said about Floyd when he faced pac, or when Whitaker faced Chavez, or when Ward faced Froch, or even when Malignaggi faced Juan Diaz. All of the guys who won those fights were perceived to have little power yet they all won convincingly (despite the bogus draw Whitaker got vs Chavez). Diaz can be outboxed as we saw against Russell jr and I think Haney would outbox him over 12.

26 fights into his career he has 15 KOs. He also has a questionable title. His opponent’s combined record is 365-164.

26 fights into Mayweather’s career (when you should be racking up the KOs) he had 17 KOs had WBO super fw title, and 7 title defenses. His opponent’s combined record was 495-140

26 fights into his career Whitaker had 13 KOs, had already lost his first title attempt for the WBC, this was 15 fights in, became the Unified LW champ (WBA,WBC,IBF) with two title defenses. His opposition combined record was 607- 144

26 fights into his career Andre Ward had 12 KOs, had the WBA and WBC SMW title and 6 defenses. His opposition combined record was 447-71

I could go on but you see the pattern. The fighters you named fought extraordinarily stiffer competition, achieved far more, were far more accomplished, yet kept pace or surpassed Haney in KOs. They deserved every ounce of the hype that came along with them. Given Haney’s oppositional combined record he has faced sub par competition this far into his career. Is he talented? No question. Has he earned the hype? Not in the least. At least not yet. One can make themselves much more greater than they actually are. This is what Social Media does and is why I stay away from it.

          hype train.

Diaz is a skilled dude who knows his way around the ring. I give him a good shot at beating Ryan or Haney.

                No one cares about Haney..

Ryan vs Jojo is a bigger fight and sells out Staples Center..

                I say make

Ryan vs Zepeda, who coming off an excellent win over Tanajara Jr

                Jojo vs Linares

on the same card and build it up for a fight

You are absolutely right! You've obviously misread my quote. I said that he should fight Devin Haney next instead of Ryan Garcia since he has lost his balls. King RY is a broken and defeated man. Even his own promoter Oscar De La Hoya has given up on him.

Diaz has some work to do. that version of him that just fought Fortuna has no chance against Haney.
