Just as I said the Ali act proves Paul is not a draw or hed be forced to get paid far more than that,& Tyson agrees.) If Paul were a draw Triller wouldn't be paying him multiple times less than Kambosos,& they wouldn't have been threatening ppl into ratting on themselves by paying to avoid getting suedLast edited by MONGOOSE66; 07-10-2021, 07:49 PM.

Over quarter of a million people watching a UFC post fight press conference LIVE on Youtube right now, while the Fury/Wilder 3 press conference has 466k almost a month after being uploaded on Top Ranks channel.
Edit: its at nearly 2 million now 2 hours after being uploaded.

Sigh you guys need to get over it. 2 million ppv buys est so far.
How long will people keep saying MMA isn't going anywhere?
ESPN is on full ****** over this event. Having Max and Stephen A with a big show.
But hey whatever. **** even fake YouTube fights are doing better than boxing.TMLT87 likes this.

You're living under a rock when it comes to this **** mate. I know tons of people who follow MMA who arent white, and this is in the UK, if you go into an MMA gym here and its in a big city theres a good chance most of the people training there arent white. The white American mma fan narrative is total BS.
Your WWE/UFC fanbase crossover claims would have been vaguely relevant when the WWE was still clearly targeted at a teenage and young adult male demographic, you know when that stopped being the case? ****ing 2007. Its a PG kids show now that has virtually no crossover appeal with the UFC.
All this "WWE" "gay" etc etc **** is just cope anyway. Its apparently fine for Fury to dress up in a ****ing Batman costume, serenade his chick in the ring after winning fights and literally go to the WWE, its okay for Jay from the ****ing Inbetweeners to turn up at a Haye/Bellew press conference, theres no problem with boxers fighting Youtubers, Ali fighting pro wrestlers (and his entire persona that he admitted himself was inspired by pro wrestling), Larry Holmes jumping off the roof of a ****ing car onto Trevor Berbick, Mike Tyson refereeing at Wrestlemania etc etc. You're just mad that in the modern day the UFC has all the hype, flash, and big personalities going for it over boxing. When you say its "over the top" what you really mean is its more exciting and dramatic and well presented lol.Last edited by TMLT87; 07-11-2021, 01:49 PM.

you're forgetting that there are always oldies checking out and a new generation of fans..
it's just that those new fans have gravitated towards ufc due to the hype of mcgregor and khabib.
they have marketed their sport perfectly with a collective global sub-culture that translates to internet culture very well. that's because it's a sub-culture brought up in the internet era.
Boxing does have that equivalent but it is mostly british and is a fairly new culture. American boxing subculture is just too old, divided (race baiting, xenophobic) and stale now (ie we've seen it/heard it all before).
Another big element is colour. British boxing has plenty of white boxers. UFC, loads of white fighters. American boxing, very few white boxers. Caleb plant, joe smith jr..a few others but never big name boxers.

2) Their overall promotion (Promos, documentaries, production level) craps all over boxing’s. This allows the fans be invested in fighters more and so buy their ppvs
3) This one might be controversial but I feel like UFC fighters in general are just smarter than boxers and are able to communicate more effectively to the fans. This most likely has to do with most of them having gone to college for wrestling, football, etc. Guys like Fury exist in boxing but they are an anomaly where it seems in UFC every second guy is a good trash talker.
