I think it's just down to money at this point. Not the fighters as much as the promoters telling their guys they can get a little more here and there. Big $ so "a little more" equals beaucoup money.

It's free tv, how many PPV has he sold? If Canelo fought on Fox, you would see what really good ratings look like, drawing a million plus on free network television is not exactly something to be bragging about....

No I'll do it first. Hearn is panicking because he realizes that his DAZN America dream is over if he lets Canelo get back to PPV. Once he see the difference between PPV money and the APP money he will never go back. Al is reminding him that he is the PPV/P4P king of boxing and he needs to come and reclaim his throne. Canelo must not be the sharpest bean in the burrito because he just got out of a bad relationship with his former promoter and jumps right back into one with a shyster. It is impossible for Hearn to be the lead negotiator in talks with FOX for Canelo while also being the lead negotiator in talks with DAZN. He 'advised' Canelo to not do PPV because it's to many PPV events this summer and his numbers will suffer. But that's not true. Zero % of Canelo's fan base bought the Tank/Barrios fight, a few will buy Fury/Wilder III and about 20% will buy the Spence/Pac fight. 100% will be there for the Canelo/Plant fight. So Hearn knows he cannot lose Canelo back to PPV because then it is over, so he's going to have to mislead him in order to keep him on the APP. There's no more Devin or Jacobs and they have no one else that will push subs. ODLH will probably never let Ryan fight on the app again. If Canelo was really 'about his bread' he would do the Plant-Benevidez-Charlo trifecta and earn over 150 milly.

The Charlo brothers couldn't put numbers like that up on Fox until the second Harrison fight.
