The water wasn't spiked unless Wilder wants to say his whole camp was a circus. He didn't have a good game plan and that's on Breland and Jay Deas. Jay Deas has known Wilder longer so he got a pass plus being co-manager helps. Breland if anything deserved to get fired for not teaching or at least if he knew he couldn't get the hell out of dodge before the implosion that everyone knew was going to happen with Wilder.
Mark Breland got a raw deal from Deontay Wilder

A****ingMen
Everyone's a Breland fan after Wilder fires him
Bet you don't have a single post, bet none of you have a single post, in your post history that has anything to do with Breland but nothing to do with Wilder.
Bet youse have got plenty of posts about how Wilder needs to fire his trainer before he did it.
Mark Breland had trained how many champions before Wilder? And Since? Last I heard he was picked up by a Charlo or some **** like that. Doubled his roster huh?
So, in reality Mark Breland is a guy youse didn't give any ****s about because he'd done **** all but have a mediocre career after being part of America's greatest Olympic team...you know, did not live up to his hype, then became a trainer and trained no one, lucked out with a guy who became champion regardless of anything Mark brought to the table, got carried by that man long into his career despite Mark bringing nothing for him, got criticized endlessly because it was obvious Mark brought nothing for Wilder, then y'all didn't like Wilder's excuse making factory and now Mark Breland is a boxing hero
Y'all can circlejerk one another but can't change your stripes this late in the game. You are full of ****.
Prior to his fights with Fury, Wilder was considered a BUM.Comment

Read some of what Breland has to say. Everything had to be done around the fact that Wilder "might" get mad and act like a 2 year old. Of course, Wilder is full of ****e. He is untrainable. As though his yes man is going to make a difference. The loss is 100% on Wilder. There's no shame in losing to Fury. Heck, I *might* even lose to Fury (ahem). But at least I'd say "I lost, he won" and take it like a man, not a spoiled toddler.

If it was difficult to work with wilder, don’t you think they should have gone their separate ways sooner? He prefers to stick around and get paid although he knows he has no chemistry to train him how he should train him.I have nothing but the utmost respect for Breland. I think he was an excellent fighter and a good trainer/coach. The accusations from Wilder border on defamation of character. Breland has discussed how difficult it was to work with Wilder and that one always had to worry that Wilder would get angry and act like a baby. I don't have a problem with Wilder firing Breland. Fighters can change trainers. It's the accusations of deliberately sabotaging Wilder that cross the line.
Trainers should be honest with themselves.Last edited by AboutBillions; 07-08-2021, 02:09 AM.Comment

You think Breland was the only one who got a raw deal? Imagine Jack Reiss and Kenny Bayless? Called drunk and the other bias because he "Administered a long count".... Do you know how many people he threw under the bus for his fights with Fury? The commission, the costume makers, Andre dirrell etc... Am surprised no one actually interviewed Dirrell since that fight to get his take on his name being brought into it.Comment

Let's be practical. He's got a job and his fighter is winning. Fighter acts like a toddler, but he's winning. Why not ride the streak? I don't have a problem with Wilder replacing Breland. I've got a problem with Wilder's silly accusations defaming Breland.
