Mark Breland got a raw deal from Deontay Wilder

I have nothing but the utmost respect for Breland. I think he was an excellent fighter and a good trainer/coach. The accusations from Wilder border on defamation of character. Breland has discussed how difficult it was to work with Wilder and that one always had to worry that Wilder would get angry and act like a baby. I don't have a problem with Wilder firing Breland. Fighters can change trainers. It's the accusations of deliberately sabotaging Wilder that cross the line.

I was rooting for Wilder both times vs Fury but clearly this is an example of a guy's ego being too big and looking for excuses for his shortcomings. He obviously didn't take the sport seriously. By that I mean he didn't think anybody could stand up to his right hand and when they did he had absolutely no other weapon/strategy/skill/plan b. He doesn't seem to know how to set it up either.

I wish him well, he looks like hes training better with Malik Scott, like he's actually taking it serious now. Better late than never but you didn't have to bury your last coach.

Then who is responsible for spiking Wilder's water???

Even if Breland didn't put the drugs on Wilder's water himself, it was his responsibility to supervise the other people in the corner!

Did they even do test to prove it was spiked? I was a big wilder fan and I think hes just making excuses for not making any adjustments whatsoever.

Keep in mind Furys promoter is cheap ass arum. So what does Breland gain by poisoning his biggest client? I seriously doubt Arum is offering up the kind of money he can't refuse to say **** his profession and credibility.

Fury showed up with Wilders number. He said EXACTLY what he was going to do before the fight. And he did it. I can't believe people buy this entire list of excuses as though they are all facts without critical examination.

It was some some of the most baby, spoiled, LIttle bitcccch kunnty **** I have ever seen in any sport.

Breland saved your ass from a career ending beating-

The people on here defending him need to take a long look in the mirror, take a deep breath and then call their mother.

I get what you're saying and you absolutely have a point but the fact remains, no matter who's fault it is, Wilder flat out wasn't improving with Breland. Time for a change.

I was totally shocked. He kept saying that he was gonna take the fight to Wilder and I kept think, yeah, if he does, Furys getting ktfo. To his credit, that's the fight he fought and dominated.

Don't you think they would found out after the fight when the tests were done to both fighters? That is BS from Wilder's team, like all of the other lies.

Lol I didn't believe it either prior to the fight. Thought he was flapping his gums and was going to outbox him soundly or was gonna get KO'D. I was tired of all the Fury talk of mental health and didn't buy into it so picked with my heart. But when the round 1 bell rang and Fury charged head on at Wilder I knew I had picked the wrong dude to win.
