I’m pretty sure Wilder and his team sat down days or weeks before this press conference to come up with a game plan for how he was going to address all of this in the media. He said more than enough to be sued for defamation by multiple parties (Fury, Breland, Bayless etc.) I think it was wise for him to keep his mouth shut. You can’t just go out and say those things with nothing to base it on. How can you be dumb enough to say Breland spiked your water? You get drug tested after the fight!! If something foreign was in his system it would have came out. If you felt Fury’s gloves had an egg weight in them, why wouldn’t you tell your team or Bayless in between rounds so they could check? He made no mention of anything. You had all these opportunities to speak up in the moment. Instead he went silent for months & then came up with all this crap. It’s just silly. All he had to say was “It wasn’t my night, I’m gonna go back in the gym try to work on all my flaws so I can be better prepared for a trilogy” The end. He’s put so much unnecessary pressure on himself now, because if he gets beat down again, what can you really say without looking like a complete joke?

Très drôle! La boxe fait partie de ma vie depuis que je suis gamin! J'ai couvert la boxe au Québec plus que quiconque pendant 10 ans sur divers site web.
