As a GGG fan, I think that’s a better fight too. Golovkin is on the slide and should move up and fight a big name instead. Go on a bit of a retirement tour kind of like how Calzhage did.

I'm not even mad at Nelo. I told you guys years ago, every fighter that gets avoided, turns around and does the same. GGG won't face anyone. He could've fought Charlo or BJS or even Andrade to get back to the front of the line. He'll wait it out and hopes Nelo picks him eventually for a payday then get KO'd. Oh well. Unofficially meant most observers thought he won both, no matter how many times u watch it and try to make a case for nelo he won 5 rounds of the second fight at most, I'm not a nelo hater, I have him as pound for pound at this very moment but it's in his best interest for his legacy to take the trilogy

GGG's fate is totally in his hands. He can force Canelo's hand by going after the big names and beating them, which he probably still can. The public outcry for a third fight after beating Charlo and/or Benavidez for example, would be too significant for Canelo to ignore. He would generate legacy-damaging backlash if he did. GGG is still a force of nature but seems pleased with just cashing out and letting it slip away.
