    Don't think so.
Even if Fury KO's him in 1st rd, WBC will still rank him as #1. You can bet on that, and WBA is no better.

And then the internet would be flooded by the "Anthony Joshua doesn't want the smoke" hourly videos....Like they are doing now with Dillian Whyte and Charles Martin (The same Martin that had a final eliminator with Hrgovic but pull out with an "Injury")... Hrgovic is still looking for an opponent and Martin is ranked number 2 if i remember correctly by the IBF.
        Exactly all this!

I believe Wilder gets that. He knows that the stakes are higher for this fight. Which is why he is working and training so hard to win. He wants to be better prepared this time for whatever Fury got.

Very true, although I suppose he could fight Joshua in the future as a long shot contender, even if AJ loses to Fury.

For most of these fighters today, it's about the money and retiring with enough, not about legacy.

They just don't want to lose too embarrassingly I guess.

Looking forward to this trilogy fight though, more excited for it than Pacquiao-Spence and a possible Canelo-Plant or Canelo-Beterbiev fight. Why, because it's going to be extremely violent.

Very intersting. Dibella has no use for the queens English and is far from Received Pronunciation. So to is the case for young Deontay but many folks on here don’t use such “controlled” and subdued descriptors of his manner of speech…..”dumb”, “bumpkin”, “ignorant”, “******”, “hood rat” etc etc. Smacks of a sinister motivation methinks….

What’s his diagnosis? Is he using illegal narcotics? Has he used performance enhancing drugs that may create a hormonal imbalance that may induce psychotic states? If so, why are you not being supportive and nurturing the way people supported Fury during his well documented cases of illegal drug usage, PED usage, very public battles with bi-polar disorder?
