Yeah I agree. I'm not a Canelo fan but I respect his accomplishment and skills...I think 175 is too high up for him unless he's fighting the right opponent. I wouldn't mind seeing him in against Bivol (who is a small LHW and has said he can get to 168) but Beterbiev is a different beast. Joe Smith is limited enough that Canelo could overcome the vast size difference but he's have to watch out for that power.

Beterbiev and Bivol and Joe Smith would have to agree to take a dive like Kovalev did for clenelo to fight them. They are not no hopers like Plant Saunders Yildirim Smith Jacobs Chavez Smith Khan.

So every champion fighter that fights a fighter you don’t like are “no hopers.” You sure you’re a boxing “fan?”

No one wants to see the Doo Doo Andrade fight. Everyone would prefer to see Canelo try to unify 175 lbs against Beterbiev and Bivol.

Nestor Gibbs from the Boxing Voice asked Andrade’s dad, “would Andrade have beaten Kovalev when Canelo fought him.” The father said “we don’t campaign above 160.” Lol

Anyone who thinks Kovalev took a dive is an idiot. He took a lot of shots and he was brutally KOed on a head shot. A dive is one of two things. Either take a shot early and stay down, like Liston or Malik Scott or Bruce Seldon. Or fight in a low effort, low damage sparring match like Oscar/B Hop
