I take it you aren't familiar with Margarito asking him for a fight to his face.

I have to agree, floyd calls himself a WW and his fight against jmm is a WW fight, yet he has not actually faced any of the current top WW's. Its a strange situation resulting from floyd retiring at the end of 2007 when the WW division was and still is stacked. I just dont understand why he didnt fight cotto and mosley when they were looking for him in 2008. Its frustrating that floyd acts like this when he should really have taken the risks and taken the wins from those tough fights. He should beat cotto and mosley. It makes him look bad and those fans who just defend him whatever he does look even worse imo. The facts are that the best fighter (floyd) hasnt stepped up and taken the hardest fights, call it what you want but you cant get around it. Its a shame. Hopefully he puts it right in the next 2 years. I have my doubts though. Floyd will do whats best for himself, taking too many risks is obviously not on his agenda.

These are the people that Floyd fears.

These are also the people that show what it is to be a fearless, warrior who will fight anyone.

I give cheers to these guys for taking risks and testing themselves against the best.

Floyd, you should be ashamed of yourself. That said, JMM will still kick your ass.

You forgot to mention Floyd fought the top welterweights when he entered the division. Baldomir and Judah. Before Cotto got a title...before Clottey got a title...while Shane was at the dentist...

Floyd doesn't give a **** about 147...he makes the biggest and most lucrative fights possible. He's a 5 division champ already...

          And Marquez aint kicking ****...

Are you really trying to tell me that Floyd would be worried about these guys if he was in his 1st division and or if he came into the ring at 160 pounds? Every single guy on that list is basically in there 1st division and all enter the ring between 160-170 pounds. That doesnt matter at all right? Lets see them go to there 4th divison at SMW and fight Kessler while only coming into the ring at 167 pounds. Its a joke. I was just reading another board where the writer was saying that she see's Floyd a ton outside the ring and shes never ever seen him weigh more then like 152 pounds yet people want to act like he's a huge monster compared to JMM. These guys you just named walk around at 180-190 pounds in between fights.
Does she walk around with a scale weighting Floyd everytime she sees him.

All the guys you listed collectively have not generated the financial profits that PBF has for any network or promoter. Also, Floyd has made more MONEY at boxing than all of these guys put together.

So yes Floyd hasn't fought any of the above mentioned - But who he has fought has made him more money than any of them will even dream of making.

                  Boxing is a BUSINESS FIRST

Anyone that doesn't understand that reality is doomed to fighting at the whim of others for life. Mosley has been in the business of boxing longer than any of those mentioned -- BUT!!!! he is still dancing to other peoples music.

Floyd has his own Band, Orchestra, Dance-floor and Building. And he alone calls all the shots ...............

So the WHY? is clear IMHO.

If I had a choice of fighting the best in boxing for 500K here, 300K there or fighting those who bring the largest financial reward to the table .... I will go for the paper.

Floyd in 2007 generated over $250,000,000.00 worth of revenue to the sport and HE took home over $80,000,000.00.

Pac, Mosley, Cotto, Clottey, Williams, Margarito, ALL COLLECTIVELY HAVEN'T EVEN BROUGHT IN 30% OF THAT.

                  The WHY is crystal clear.
Marquez has never, EVER been in a fight that has generated more buy's than Cotto's and Margarito's highest so your entire argument just failed.
