Actually, I do think he should be fighting Valero but he's an idiot. I never said that Floyd wasnt a fool. I think as good as his career has been, I think he ruined it by moving up in weight so often, so quickly. Ever since he left SFW he has been by far the smallest guy in each division he's been at yet he always moves up. At LW he came into the ring at 138-139 but moved up after only fighting 3 opponents, he then went to 140 when he came into the ring at 144 for each fight but he again moved up after only 3 fights, then he moved to WW where he actually came into the ring at 146-148 pounds but still moved up again after only 3 fights to get Oscar where he came into the ring still at 148 pounds for a 154 pound fight.

I clearly remember articles after the Castillo fight where top notch writers said that his body is far too frail to ever move up in weight and he will be a career LW. Most of them thought that he would never even be the same guy at LW because he was so small. I have always felt that he shouldve stayed at LW until about 2 years ago and finished his career at 140. I wouldnt mind him moving up for just one fight at WW or 154 just to say he got a title there but physicaly he never belonged. If he had done that then everyone would be looking at him differently. He would be a totally different fighter. He would be like the guy who fought Gatti for every fight. Then he could put on the same type of performances as every other great fighter in boxing but instead he's fighting guys with 20 pounds on him and has to pot shot. He only did it to chase the big money Oscar fight.

Even Roach said that Floyd could easily make 140 but is just too lazy. Not in terms of training but Floyd I just beleive never wants to ruin his body. He wants to retire as a healthy man so he will never kill himself to make weight. He's also a fool because he never makes the arguments that his defenders make. Instead he comes out and says that a guy is too small and is a midget or whatever. He doesnt get it. Seriously though, put in a tape of Floyd vs Zab & Baldy at WW and then put in a type of Pac vs EM at 130 and tell me Pac isnt physicaly equal to Floyd but there fighting 2 totally different size guys. Thats how Pac has moved up this quickly now. He was literaly able to beat most guys at 140 even back then I bet because he was already that big while Floyd was fighting monsters. I just think people overlook that, not only from an opponent stand point but from a performance standpoint. If he was down at 140 where he belonged then he would look amazing in the ring and no pot shots. I was just about to make a thread about this saying how Floyd gets penalyzed for being too good. Seriously. No one near his own size can hang with him at all except for maybe Pac so people think a fight vs a guy like JMM is a joke when really its not. Its just that Floyd is so good that he makes it look like a joke but if it was anyone else who was his size then they would have mad trouble with JMM.

Its like Manny Steward said, the only person who can beat Floyd is a "huge" WW and this guy is the biggest Floyd hater there is. Even when he said that he said it in a non chalant way like he thinks its not even a big deal. He's basically admitting that anyone near Floyd's size will get killed but the big WW's may beat him strictly on size alone. No way you would think that Margarito is P4P anywhere near Floyd's level. Its not even close P4P but he may beat him just because Floyd will end up probably running & pot shotting. Things may be different now. Floyd is more bulked up so maybe he can physicaly deal better at WW. The problem is that he's more ripped but he still seems to way the same in the ring so not much has changed. If he ever got up to 155 then he would be totally fine. He would still be the smallest guy at WW but he would phyicaly be able to deal with them I think. Even at 152 I think he would be ok but 146-148 is pushing it when youre talking about these guys who are reall small Jr. MW's moreso than WW's. I mean, I think Sweet Pea is way better then any of those other WW's but I bet Floyd wouldve fought him because physicaly they wouldve been close to equal in size

it means he would've bludgeoned hatton at 140 lbs too.

            a lot, but not enough.

              Christ man, you're a machine.

But the answer to this is that he should go back to 140. If he continues to campaign at 47' then these questions will always pester him.

If you can't fight the top guys at 47', then don't claim you're a WW.

Every single guy on that list is basically in there 1st division and all enter the ring between 160-170 pounds. That doesnt matter at all right? Lets see them go to there 4th divison at SMW and fight Kessler while only coming into the ring at 167 pounds. Its a joke. I was just reading another board where the writer was saying that she see's Floyd a ton outside the ring and shes never ever seen him weigh more then like 152 pounds yet people want to act like he's a huge monster compared to JMM. These guys you just named walk around at 180-190 pounds in between fights.
Then he has to STFU and stop calling himself the best WW
