I preferred Berto, but this isn't bad. Clottey gets stopped for the first time against Shane unless something changed in his year long layoff.

On a more serious note, Shane is way too old to be sitting on the sidelines for a year. That's ridiculous. These money grubbers are killing the sport. MMA guys do the same training and battle in the ring(to and extent) and accept the purses that are offered to make the best fights possible. I guess the sport itself is to blame since you are never any better than your last fights suggest. Take Hatton for example, now he should retire but before Manny, everyone including me was saying he could very well win.

Yea man, i'm startin to think most here think that win against marg was a fluke for shane or somethin. I've been watchin shane for a min, and even after those loses he lost some steam, but after that divorce **** and his name being dragged in the mud, it look like shane tryin to demolish dudes souls now in the ring. This was before any negotiations with pavlik. Clottey called out mosley, cotto, and williams for several months. Everyone was quite until cotto shut his mouth. Cotto is the only true warrior and champ. All else just talk. Check his resume, he fight champs and undefeated fighters. His only loss was to a cheater.

Mosley will have a better resume at 147 than Cotto (even not including Shane's first victory over De La Hoya) if he beats Clottey convincingly.
