This was before any negotiations with pavlik. Clottey called out mosley, cotto, and williams for several months. Everyone was quite until cotto shut his mouth. Cotto is the only true warrior and champ. All else just talk. Check his resume, he fight champs and undefeated fighters. His only loss was to a cheater.

The ratings for this event will absolutely bomb. I have no idea what HBO is thinking. I know Shane Mosley is anxious to fight again, but Golden Boy won't be able to give tickets away to fill STAPLES on Dec. 26th, and this will again be the pitfall for why Mayweather won't fight Mosley.

HBO should've pushed this to the beginning of 2010.

its a smart move cause they definitely don't want to see Mosley bust their investment in Berto. Thing I was most impressed with concerning Clottey was his jab, fast accurate ans hard enough to give Cotto some problems. I got Mosley in a close SD.

Can't disagree with you there, but no need to overexaggerate it.

We'll never know that part, but it's pretty clear that the "cheater" had Cotto's number all night long regardless, and possibly will again if they meet for a second time.

Ill agree with u on shane being a warrior , but egg head ain't NO warrior, true warriors dont do what he did in round 5 and round 12 , people tend to use the word warrior loosely , shane by ud in friendly confines of staples center judges, hopefully ortiz can be on da undercarx and see what a real professional is all bout when he sees mosley out thur , if he fights on the undecard,

I have seen this two fighters many times. Both are great warriors and I believe this fight will make everyone to stay on their seat. Mosley has to be careful with Clottey. He has to remember he beat Margacheata without the gloves filled with cast. Most likely when Clottey fought Margacheata he was in disadvantage. After seen many fights of Mosley and Clottey I think Clottey will win this fight by a late KO, otherwise if Mosley run a lot and punch and run will win by close unanimous decision or split decision. Any way win Mosley or Clottey this fight will be very good for the fans, another fight to enjoy.

Clottey Ud. People keep mentioning that Shane will win on activity but they forget that in all his last fights Mosley hasnt had a big a workrate. He huggged a lot against Cotto, Mayorga, and Margarito. People also seem to forget that Clottey outlanded Cotto, something Shane wasn't able to do.
