It's a bad look for the sport as a whole and for all the various promoters that we continually have these problems of the best fighters not looking to test themselves properly. It's damaging both the MW and the WW division. SMW, which isn't the greatest, has become more interesting with Canelo at least just going for it to try and face all the best names. Jr WW is the better for Taylor and Prograis and Ramirez et al having been willing to grasp the nettle and find out who is the best man in the division.

I want Charlo vs Andrade or GGG. He doesn't need to leave the PBC to fight them, and going to DAZN doesn't guarantee he gets them. It hasn't guaranteed Andrade anything.

Hearn is wrong about a lot of things but the one point I do agree with is that Charlo can't become complacent fighting lower level competition. But I think he will turn that around he has too, to keep his brand relevant.

Eddy needs to get Whyte in America. That's the big deal for him. At this point, whyte can do something AJ couldn't. Grow the American market. He has Eddy over a barrel, his success could right the ship. He would gain huge bragging rights on AJ, a sure shot at a title, and pull Eddys nuts out of the fire.
