15-1 underdog waste of time fight. Hopefully PBC holds out and clenelo is forced to fight Bivol or Andrade or Golovkin. Those guys can beat clenelo even with the crooked shenanigans(roids/crooked judges/crooked ref/short notice).

I don’t remember a lot of people saying that, but I thought BJS gave a good account of himself up to the stoppage. I mean the last round he lost bad. The score cards didn’t reflect the competitiveness of the bout.

BJS put up more of a fight than Smith did anyways.

People were saying the same thing they always say, “Canelo is poor against Southpaws” because of Lara or Trout. It’s just amazing that boxing fans have no idea that fighters learn exponentially, and Canelo is an elite fighter. The last fighter Canelo had problems with imho was Jacobs who switched Southie in the fight. That fight was harder for Canelo than was BJS. But then I factor in that Canelo had to make 160 and looked so thin like Jacobs on the scale. Take away water drains and we see the true nature of Canelo. That’s why I knew he was going to stop BJS who looked like trash at 168, and BJS never fought a precise puncher like Canelo. Remember all the Canelo haters said “if BJS fights Canelo as he did in the Lemieux fight he will give Canelo problems.” When BJS imposed that speed and craftiness Canelo’s defense and Ring IQ is just too much, and I pleaded with Canelo haters that the Mexican wasn’t Lemieux ffs…

I think it showed, once again, that Canelo can be out boxed.

You just can't do it unless you make zero mistakes though.

Billy's mistake wasn't getting his face smashed either. It was giving Canelo the same look every time.

Canelo figured it out and then threw the shot expecting him to be there and Billy ran into it.

So, if Plant irons out those details in the contract (his desired cut), he better box the perfect match and not get hit flush with anything Canelo throws or it's game over for him.

Im doing film study based on Plant's last 5 fights, already done the paperwork for the Medina and Uzcategui fights, 3 way more to go but from what I've been watching I'm not that optimistic on the "frustrating part" like you.

Will make the breakdown the moment the fight gets announced, very good fight, thou.

His best win was probably Uzcategui who, while heavy handed, has shown his own flaws in the past and also more recently. After that I guess it's guys like Medina, Fiegenbutz and Truax. He's not a bad boxer but I don't see anything that tells me he beats Canelo.
