Q-I think im comfortable in saying that jose luis castillo might have given you your toughest fight floyd. would you agree with that? and what happend in the first fight? obviously you corrected it in the second.

FM-No absoluteley not. i dont think that he gave me my thoughest fight. i think the critics were tough. i mean all you got to do is go back & watch the fight & put the fight on mute and you watch the fight. Like i said before, the commentators are always tough on me. I won the first six rounds clearly with ease and then he--hes a fighter. He has to try to, its combat. so in combat - in war yourre going to get hit in the war. It comes with the terrirtory. He landed a few good shots. Castillo won the fight because he got a few good shots.

****, sounds ****** but Zab Judah gave him a hell of a fight for 3-4 rounds. IF he wasnt such a dumb ass that could have been a really good fight.

To date Zab was the only guy I thought that could have beat him.... but he's too ****** in and out of the ring. I gave Zab more of a chance beating PBF than I do JMM or Pac.

a hell of a fight by landing a few shots? come on man...Judah landed a couple of one at a time lefts, and that was that...all while Floyd covered up and allowed him to do so. Judah didnt dictate anything in that fight

how convenient Castillo gave him his toughest fight while Mayweather had an injured hand....

he sure didnt give him a tough fight 5 months later when Mayweather gave him an immediate rematch and beat him even more than he did the first time

or it could be, that he is just that good!!! Tough hard fighters are cakewalks for him. His whole career he has been a virtuoso, it's been pretty easy for him or he atleast make sit look that way.


Floyd is right, people do lust for the negative and automatcially see the glass half full
