He will avoid them for as long as he wants. His fans seem to be okay with it, and they even buy into the whole 3 division champ crap, so who knows...

He has Mayweather as his mentor - so basically he can avoid them forever. You remember when Wilder's best win (well still is) was an old Ortiz (whose best win was Jennings many years ago) - didn't stop the hype or money in any way. He even got away with picking a fat bloated and retired but big name Fury as an opponent. If that hadn't backfired - Wilder would still be the greatest thing ever

Fans are dumb and will believe anything without proof. Not saying that Tank isn't or won't be great - but he should have to prove that in the ring

He hasn't faced a top fighter at any weight in over 4 years. Why would he start now?

PBC's 130lb is barren. Based on how Davis has been matched and promoted, do you really see him going down to face Colbert/GRJ/Fulton? That's before we even get to the topic of Davis potentially missing weight.

In fairness, he made 130 last time.

I don’t know who he faces next- maybe Russell. My point is why don’t people ask about him fighting at the weight he is at the top at instead of weights where he isn’t in the top 10?

Tank said that he would go back up to 140 for the right fight. He wants to fight at 130 or 135.

Floyd already stated it, forever. Inhouse fights all day everyday.

Maybe when Tank is 33 they will cash out with a big fight

The best SFWs aren't under the PBC umbrella: Valdez, Berchelt, Herring, Stevenson, JoJo Diaz, etc. I don't mind Davis/Colbert, but Davis' current career trajectory doesn't make that match-up likely. Surely they'll try to put Davis/Colbert on PPV, but Colbert needs more seasoning. I think Colbert has the personality to sell a PPV though.

What's the problem? PBC fan boys, Tank and his owners all claim he WOULD, that's WOULD beat them all, that's good enough for them. That alone should raise him high in the P4P rankings and set him in as an ATG.

I get that. But it still is fishy that the same people that always post about the best fighting the best don’t seem to want the best SFW’s to fight by the instead want Tank to fight at 135 and 140 even though they all agree he isn’t one of the best at those weights.
