if asteza moves up to WW and dominates the division will this win by little tank be seen as possibly the best win ever seen in boxing?

I would certainly like to see them take the training wheels off, and let him fight someone who can really be viewed as a challenge. Any of the top guys at 135, or even Jose Ramirez at 140 would have given him more credit.
These secondary titles are a mess, and everyone who gave Ugas a hard time for celebrating when he win his should definitely be laughing at the notion that Davis is a multi division world champion. If there's a guy in the same sanctioning body ranked ahead of you, you aren't a world champion, pretty much by definition.
At this point in his career, it starts to look more like his people either don't really believe in his talents against top competition, or else that they don't want to advance his career and risk him eclipsing his mentor.Comment

I don't think anyone at his weight beats Josh for a good while. I'm expecting a long reign or a move in division. Kinda hope for the former but everyone does the latter.Comment

Danny G could go back down and bop him. Or even Terrence Crawford, which sounds like the most likely guy to fight Taylor.Comment

TC is TC...ain't really got to say ****, he is a great boxer and a great puncher and we all assume he will be great in the sport.
That said, I didn't consider guys coming down to him. Fair point dude.Comment

Taylor for Vergonta is ... what Beterbiev is for Clenelo, a mirrage... Never gona happen, 140 is a vacation spot for Davis, good all "in and out" for the walmart belt.Comment
