To be brutally honest I hate threads like this. I’m Puerto Rican and have nothing but love for my Mexican brothers and their great fighters. But without being distorted with blind fanaticism from my countrymen (and also my Mexican contingents) both countries have been nothing but instrumental to what they have contributed to the sport. That said, I think fans from BOTH sides need to just let this **** rest and reflect on the warriors that shed blood for our entertainment. Didn’t mean to sound so diplomatic it’s just that this **** is getting old.

this thread makes me lol. There is no denying that Puerto Rico has alot of BLIND fanatics, and that is what pisses me off. As a Puerto Rican, I can't deny I support my home champions, but I'm a big boxing fan, so I'm objective and not biased. And it's a fact that Mex has more champions, I don't know why it hurts ricans so much, it's ridiculous. Hell, among my all time favorites? there are mexicans.... AND I'M PUERTO RICAN....
