Call me crazy and I might get a little heat on this, I do think Andrade would be an easier fight for Mungo just based on styles, I think Munguia can put more pressure than Williams, he would have to make the camp of his life, not only that, he wuold have to boos his cardio to insane levels, but with a mauling gameplan I think he can beat Andrade, Rosado might be a veteran but he has so much experience at high level, I think he would find a way to frustrate Munguia.

I can understand Munguia's team's thinking here. First off, Rosado would be the best scalp on Munguia's record. Yes, he's 37-0 but who has he fought of consequence beyond Spike O'Sullivan or Liam Williams? Second, as has been mentioned, Rosado probably makes for a better fight entertainment-wise than Andrade. Probably brings more money, too. For a young fighter looking to make a name for himself, Rosado could give him more highlight-reel quality action. Third, Rosado is arguably a better litmus test than Andrade. Andrade also hasn't fought much of anybody but how Munguia fairs against Rosado lets us compare (appropriately or not) him to a whole lot of other guys. Rosado has fought everybody. Lost to most of them, sure, but has been competitive and in there to win.

On the other hand there's also a very legitimate argument that if you are a mando for a titleholder, you should be calling out that titleholder. Personally, I'm fine with him fighting Rosado. If you're at MW and was a good test and good fight, Rosado is always a good dance partner and one I can live with. But, ultimately, if you wanna be the guy you gotta beat the champs. If he does fight Gabe, it makes more sense to fight Rosado then Andrade since Rosado would be a step back if he fought Andrade first. And, if he fights Gabe he better be calling out and fighting Andrade next.
