How did Lomachenko become so irrelevant after one loss?

Just got to any top rank videos on youtube involving Loma and Teo. The amount comments saying Loma wins the rematch because he was injured and is magically going to want to trade with teo are insane.

anyways....i think hes still very good...still tough for most to beat because he just does things others dont/cant....

i still, for the life of me, cant figure how why/how he did so little in that 12th round...he was coming on and taking over...and he had to have known that 12th could be pivotal....and the round wasnt even close imo......

i do think that if teo and his people do their homework and teo comes in great shape and ready to fight for 12 rounds they can handle loma though

if there is a rematch this year I have money on Loma. Teo is just an accident waiting to happen.

I think this is one of those cases in which the better fighter just can't beat the other guy. Just like Junior Jones and Marco Antonio Barerra. Barerra is an ATG fw, but he just could never do anything with junior jones for some reason and I never understood why. Especially since Jones had no chin whatsoever. This is one of those cases

yup...which is why i believe that if teo comes in the right shape to be able to keep loma off him for most of 12 rounds while varying the attack(more than just a straight one two) he can beat him again......loma keeps talking about how he lost the fight more than teo won it....but teo took alot of time off too where he didnt do much and sort of let loma press him

well these guys aren't really fans of these boxers. They bandwagon certain fighters until they get their azz whipped and then abandon them. Look at how they treated Kovalev. They went from saying Kovalev would beat Tarver, Roy Jones, and Michael Spinks at 175 to acting like they never knew who he was. After Cripple G's next loss, they will do the same to him. They have no loyalty to the guys their flavor of the year fighters and it's sickening. I wouldn't want any of these guys as my fans..

And Loma wasn't 100% either on their fight... Yet the 2/3 of him was able to dominate Teo for a good 5 rounds after he finally woke up ... I take nothing away from Lopez but I just don't think he's on par with a 100% Loma ..
