How did Lomachenko become so irrelevant after one loss?

Last year before the Teofimo fight, most posters on BS were talking about Loma like he walked on water. It was so bad - they elevated him prematurely to ATG status & he was worshipped like the god Charles Martin thought he was.

I was the only one on the forum who picked Teo to beat him (won a lot of money as well) and I was accused of trolling. The same way I was the only guy who said Dubois would lose to the cyborg. One of the 2-3 who confidently said AJ would beat Ruiz convincingly without having any problems whatsoever. I also picked Fury to stop Wilder. Etc.

One loss doesn’t define a boxer & Loma is still a great boxer - he beats Ryan Garcia and Haney easily. But he’s not on the level people put him on (esp Mayweather and other greats). It just shows most of the clowns on this forum are casuals and all they do is jump on whatever bandwagon feels cool and that doesn’t threaten their fragile masculinity and insecurities.

well these guys aren't really fans of these boxers. They bandwagon certain fighters until they get their azz whipped and then abandon them. Look at how they treated Kovalev. They went from saying Kovalev would beat Tarver, Roy Jones, and Michael Spinks at 175 to acting like they never knew who he was. After Cripple G's next loss, they will do the same to him. They have no loyalty to the guys their flavor of the year fighters and it's sickening. I wouldn't want any of these guys as my fans..

anyways....i think hes still very good...still tough for most to beat because he just does things others dont/cant....

i still, for the life of me, cant figure how why/how he did so little in that 12th round...he was coming on and taking over...and he had to have known that 12th could be pivotal....and the round wasnt even close imo......

i do think that if teo and his people do their homework and teo comes in great shape and ready to fight for 12 rounds they can handle loma though

I bet a ton of money on Lopez beating him. I made several posts on here before the fight as well. Credit to your prediction as well though, I saw nobody else predicting him winning.
