How was Maidana a cherry pick? Maidana was coming off three TKO wins against Soto Karas, Martin Perez, Josesito Lopez and a beat down of Broner which gave him a legit title at 147.

As for your poll, 90% of the guys that voted for Khan were Pakistanis … as expected.
If Floyd had fought Khan, it would have been a cherry-pick. Khan has never been relevant at 147
No I meant to say Madonna because that's who Floyd might as well been fighting.

I don't care if it was 90% single moms who voted for Khan. He won it so honor it.

Khan stylistically is all wrong for Floyd. Floyd Sr. knew it. That's why he displayed that shook body language the way he did in the video somebody put up in this thread.

These guys only wanted easy fights with slow, flat footed, short armed, come forward fighters or shopworn name guys.

May made more in that exhibition than Con will ever make.
A Mere Con wasn't talking from the perspective of money being made. He's talking about a boxer's legacy. As good as Mayweather is/was, he's not on quite a few (true) boxing fans list of favorite fighters of all-time. Despite his unbeaten record, the 2nd half of Mayweather's career is filled with handpicked competitors and lackluster fights (none of his fights is a "fight of the year"). And he did nothing to help his career by NOT knocking out Paul.

And, for the record, I do not believe Floyd should have ever fought Khan (Con). He's garbage. And would have been another handpicked bum.

Getting KO'd by Garcia, Prescott, and Canelo looked bad for Amir Khan!

We’ve heard that argument of guys that are “stylistically” wrong for Floyd, be it speed or even age. PAC was stylistically wrong for Floyd so was Mosley so were all the southpaws he fought so was Canelo because Floyd was an old 36 year old yet they all got beat.
Once again, where was Khan’s speed in all his spectacular losses? Khan’s speed should have at least gotten him an honorable loss not the beat down we all saw.

Zab and PAC were all faster than Khan and hit harder than him and were better boxers yet they got beat by Floyd.

Even if we’re to go with your argument, Khan would have lost to Floyd regardless

May is the only RETIRED person who gets criticized !!!!
100 RETIRED MFers could doing the exhibition thing and no one raises an eyebrow.
Hypocrites were cheering on Mike to KO RJJ !!!
Had May KO'd Paul, detractors would be pist off saying May was SUPPOSED to do that. ''Why couldn't he do that to Pac ?!?!?!''

MAY CAN'T WIN WITH SOME ''PEOPLE''

                Pick ONE

FWIW, May will be a UNANIMOIUS 1ST ballot HOFer. Legacy intact (except for hateful spectators who hold a grudge against him for retiring) and bank account healthy.

It was masterful how May kept Con at the end of the string

Why didn't Manny honor it when his fans voted for Khan, is what you said applying here.
