It does work for me. It's a sport. If you don't beat the top guy, you are not the top guy. If you have no intention of fighting the top guy, you will never be the top guy. "My guy would beat your guy if they ever fought" doesn't really work here. Eyeball test doesn't work here. Fights are won in the ring.

I think he IS good enough to be that guy, but secondary belts and never actually fighting The Man, kind of lessens any 3 div champ claims. He's smashing anyone whose been put in front of him thus far, often in good style, and you really can't argue with that. The fans know what a real belt is.

this article talks about watchdogs but then labels barrios as unbeaten and credible. based on what? getting battered around the ring for 8 rounds straight against akhmedov and getting a robbery win? what a watch dog! you did the same thing. he has nothing else on his resume. nothing to label him as credible, and unbeaten? only in tanks universe where top fighters dont exist

Upsets are one of my very favourite things about boxing, especially when you know everyone's been completely overlooking the underdog. Nothing like the priceless look on a promoters face when they realise all those cheques they'd been cashing in their heads just evaporated.

Point is you just never know, if you did they wouldn't need to fight. War to the underdogs!

That's the truth. Sadly however with JT and Teofimo moving up in weight and belts becoming vacant ,Davis will be upgraded and become a 3 div champion in dreadful circumstances and history will make him out to be something he is not.
