i dont think most people ever took the boxrec rankings seriously. from my memory most people constantly laughed and ridiculed their rankings. this post being another example of that

its funny how tank went from unranked at 130 to ranked #1 after beating unranked santa cruz. meanwhile valdez beat the #1 guy and that still wasnt good enough lol. oh wait tank beat the #6 guy 4 years ago as well so make sure to factor that into the ranking as well! whats better beating the #1 guy or beating the #6 guy 4 years ago tough decision! who sells more ppvs...

The whole package if you were watching. Ratings are mostly eye test and resume with eye test overriding most criteria. You see what you see in the ring. I've always despised Boxrec for everything except fighter stats, but if you are a number guy, they actually use math.

I agree with them in this case. Taylor looks primitive compared to Davis, skillwise.

Boxrec is a complete joke. Josh Taylor is Undisputed. Josh fought real champions not regular chumps. Tank #1
