Totally agree here, am glad there is an article that puts this out there. Saw people criticising Floyd on social media, fact was he woke Tank up, he was up front with him. And that was definitely needed by him, he took his opponents out soon enough.

Floyd did the right thing at the right time IMO. Ford wasnt instructing Tank in the corner honestly. He was praising him even when he needed to hit the gas. A fighters instinct is great when they are dominating but they need to be told how to change the tone of a fight when its necessary. Good call on Floyd's part.

A number of people made really upset that Tank won. They were mad as hell before the fight that he sold tickets to casuals. They were mad that he got to headline a ppv. Damn shame that success bothers people so much.

I don’t think Tank is big enough to really be a threat at 140 right now. IMO he is a 130lb fighter. The question is will he train and stay in shape and stay there or will he spend too much time in Baltimore with his peoples and get too big and be forced to fight at higher weight.

The only problem with this method Floyd used isn’t legal or authorized by commissions or referees to allow someone not part of the corner to step up and automatic have discussions with the fighter. If I’m ringside a non Participant can I get up in a corner to give advise. This is privileged opportunity at its best and in other words B.S. that’s not how a corner is ran and boxing shouldn’t be changed based on popularity of Floyd, it’s not fair! Why are you praising poor sportsmanship and it could be due to the money he has placed on a ko himself. I get it, it’s your dude your guy but we shouldn’t be allowed to bend the dam rules.

I don’t think I ever scored a fight the same as him.

I also remember Paulie having some really weird scorecards when he was on the broadcast years ago.

How do you know what was authorized by the commission in Atlanta? You have no idea what the rules are, you’re just guessing off of your emotions. I don’t see anything prohibiting what he did. It’s really up to the refs discretion. He didn’t step in the ring.
