    Release the chains on Tank

I think Barrios exposed a few things last night but I am still buggered if I see anyone beating him south of 135.

Shame that Floyd is acting like a Father figure and being overly protective because he's a ****ing good fighter.
I actually think he'd knock Loma's head clean off and beat all these young bucks.
I don't even need to see Tank fight Loma I am telling you I will bet every last penny I have he will **** your boy Loma up!

If I am the others I am relieved about it but I'd like to see him prove himself and do the remarkable things I think he is capable of. I think he can go down as an ATG at 135 if he can stay making the weight, the competition is certainly there.

Make no mistake about it he's the real deal & that Barrios is definitely a very good fighter in his own right. Best at 140, no but probably top 5.
He did everything he could unlike most fighters today who fold when things start not going there way and have no plan B he adjusted, he adapted he went out on his shield. Solid fighter that did everything he could to try win.

There's still hope for a Ryan Garcia fight I think.

Maybe I am giving Tank way too much credit but there are a lot of fights vs the supposed top guys I actually have no real interest in.
      Garcia being one.
Cement footed, chin up in the air - That will end in disaster.

There will be millions on teenagers on Instagram the next day mourning.

I got Tank sparking out Haney for sure. Haney would try and hug for dear life again until his lights were shut off.

          Tank impressed me for sure.

He has p4p power in both hands and has exceptional speed.

I also get the feeling he has a decent set of whiskers. He certain has the right body type (stocky, short neck, big head).

Do you think he’ll drop back down in weight?

Definitely will go down to 135. The Garcia fight was supposed to happen this first half of the year and I expect that fight to be pursued for later this year.

              Barrios didn't expose anything.

If anyone was analyzing Barrios chances in a level-headed manner, you would know he was going to have some degree of success. I was actually surprised Tank got the stoppage. I expected it to go 12 rounds and for the fight to be competitive. It was competitive by the time of the stoppage. I had it 5-5 by the time of stoppage, with Tank being up 2 points due to the two KD's.

If fans would stop being so biased and predict fights with a level head, then a lot of these fighters wouldn't get "exposed" but instead the fighter was challenged as expected.

Predictions for this fight ranged from "Tank is cherrypicking, scared", to "Barrios got a gift in his last fight, therefore Tank should dispatch him easily".

Very few fans look at everything. Height, weight, styles, how many guys that size has the fighter fought? How many times has that fighter fought at that weight class? Nope, it's just "he looked bad in his last fight" Styles don't matter. Let's ignore Tank looking mediocre vs an old past prime Gamboa. Let's focus on Barrios and his mediocre performance.

So no, Tank did not get exposed. He fought somewhat as I expected him to fight given the style and size of the opponent. No he was not supposed to KO Barrios in 3 rounds, with 5 KD's leading up to the stoppage.

"Barrios is not an elite fighter."

Tank has not proven he's elite either. So they're even. Tank's power made the difference. Literally. They won 5 rounds each before round 11. With Tank's power netting him two KD's before round 11. If Davis fights someone with power and who can take a punch, yes he will be in trouble. But it's not because of his performance vs Barrios.

Tank is finally 100 percent committed and focused on his career. That wasn’t the case 18 months ago. Floyd was right to slow him down a bit. Tank was fast tracking for sure ala Perdraza fight but somewhere along the way he lost his way. He missed weight in a fight. Maybe feeling himself a little too much. Whatever it was now he seems ready for anybody.

He might take Loma's head off, he might chin Garcia, who cares about what "might happen", I want to see what does happen.

Teo and Loma look like they are fighting again, Garcia seems to want Tank, Haney looks the most likely to fight on someone else's platform IMO.

Tank might be the most dangerous of them all, but unfortunately he also seems the least likely to make the fights people want. Might be Floyd's guidance or PBC, but he seems content making good money keeping it in house collecting questionable belts which is a shame IMO.

He's ready for whoever at 135. People want to believe fighters are somewhere pissing their pants at the idea of fighting their favorite guys but they aren't.
