and no one at 130 is avoiding him. tank clearly ducked loma, machado when he was top 5 and farmer when he was top 5. floyd himself said he wasnt interested in anyone else yet you keep ignoring all the evidence that this guy is a cherry picking fraud. why? its like you have already made up your mind. this is my guy im going to defend him regardless of the evidence. im going ot pretend hes great regardless of his horrible competition. here is some advice. get some standards of what you like in a fighter and then find that fighter. dont start with the fighter and work backwards cause then you come on here writing jibberish and defending someone like tank who wants no part of the real boxing league that is taking place without him. its been 4 and a half years. thats embarrassing.
Damn...you put an end to that real quick!...Having gone up to 140lbs for this fight,i seriously doubt that tank has the commitment or desire to cut back down to 130lbs anyways. I say it's catchweights from here on out for Tank.

So let's look at the options at the 3 weight classes he's fought at.

130: Claudio Marrero, Jaime Arboleda, Xavier Martinez, Chris Colbert

Colbert the only interesting option here, would be a fun fight, but more likely becomes an option further down the line at a different weight class. I doubt Davis returns to 130 at this point imo

135: Jezzrel Corrales, Michel Rivera, Javier Fortuna, Rolly Romero, Isaac Cruz

Options aren't great here as well. I've been pushing for the Fortuna fight for a while, think that's a really good and tough matchup for Davis. Fortuna will be in line to fight Haney if he beats Diaz, but I'm sure they could pivot from that win into a big fight with Tank. Even if he loses, he's an option again at 135 or 140 for Davis if he wins a comeback fight. Corrales a solid fight that I wouldn't mind, tough stylistic fight for Tank imo. Would Mayweather put Romero and Davis in a fight together? Who knows, but I bet they could sell it pretty well and it'd be an easy fight for Tank. Cruz seems likely in the near future imo. Mexican, exciting style, small guy. Leans towards an action fight that isn't really too tough or dangerous for Tank.

140: Ladarius Miller, Argenis Mendez, Robert Easter, Rances Barthelemy, Batyr Akhmedov, Ivan Redkach, Juan Heraldez, Subriel Matias, Regis Prograis

Miller, Mendez, Redkach and Herladez are probably fringe guys that would be disappointing fights that you'd have to put on regular Showtime. Easter and Barthelemy make sense. Akhmedov is a good fight, but high risk/low reward. Matias and Prograis are huge fights that would be incredibly dangerous.

There are also some ShoBox 140 guys that could be wildcards like Ergashev, Brandun Lee, Richardson Hitchins, Gary Antuanne Russell, Malik Hawkins.

Wild, wild card: Mikey Garcia at 140

Also can't rule out some kinda crazy foray to 147 vs a handpicked opponent, like Broner did with Paulie. Would Davis fancy his chances vs Jamal James for another WBA regular title or maybe a future vacant world title fight against someone like Abel Ramos or Stanionis? Can't rule it out

My guess is he'll jump back and forth between 135 and 140, fighting guys like Cruz, Fortuna, Easter and Barthelemy.

Of course they are. Tank is the top draw at 130 by far and no one from TR mentions him.

He can fight in-house fights at 130 because that is where he is the top boxer. He isn’t at 135 or 140.

So if the goal is to have the best fight the best, why would Tank factor in the discussion at 135 or 140 when he isn’t the best at either weight?

Multiple media rankings have him at #1 or # 2 at 130.

no one at TR mentions him even though he is clearly the top draw. Bob is not inclined to match any of his guys against him, yet soon as Floyd says this you clowns start with duck.

Yet the guys that actually duck- like when they drop the title to avoid a fight- you make excuses for them.

They made a 70/30 offer to Farmer. Farmer balked at it, and that was that

Tank has been as big a star that there is in 130-135 since he beat Pedrazza.

If Loma wants to do 70/30, and fight on showtime, I am sure PBC will take it. If not, continue with fighting boring fights, that no one watches, for mediocre money.

Ask yourself...WHY DOES TANK MAKE MORE MONEY THAN ALL THESE GUYS (Loma/Haney/Teo/Garcia)

Relevant in what sense? Not ticket sales or PPV buys. You want Tank to come down off of the PPV mountain, to share purses with fighters who could not sell out an IHOP?

This is a MONEY issue, if you want to fight Tank, they YOU NEED TO TAKE 80/20. If not, then continue to fight in low revenue matches. Top Rank best fighter is a NET LOSS every time he fights. What does that tell you?

Oscar Valdez, Jamel Herring, Teofimo Lopez and Vasyl Lomachenko call him out all the time.

Meanwhile, the PBC pretends like the WBO doesn’t exist when making on air graphics of current champions to avoid mentioning Terence Crawford.

That wbo stuff was ages ago. They’ve been noticing them. I haven’t heard anyone at 130 mention him.

Teo just shifted his position because Tank sold tickets while he “ caught covid”.
