I was happy for Tank yesterday. Great showing.

But then I heard Floyd said this and I want nothing more than Floyd out of boxing. I get it: he is trying to maximize Tank's pockets, but the great contradiction in boxing is that this HURTS boxing in the long term.

As fans, we don't care how makes what. They care with good reason. The problem is of course structural, but this does not make it any more palatable.


Floyd just wrecked some very good matches. Tank will be facing no hoppers for a long time. The Floyd method: get PPV-name, then take no risk. Sure, makes money for him, but ruins boxing.

tank was ducking people before he was a big draw. look up lomachenko-tank, tank-machado(literally stole his belt without fighting him), and tank-farmer. also tank has never made any 70-30 offers to them because they dont want to risk that they might accept his offer! he continues with the bums

Apples and oranges. Top Rank has all the relevant fighters at 135 and 140 outside of Haney and Garcia. Tank doesn’t want any part of any of them. He is in the Haymon Protection Program.
