This, its disrespectful to the trainer. Trainer only got a few seconds to get his words and Tank is totally distracted by floyd who is allowed to wonder around freely outside the ring. Either be in the corner officially or let them do their job. I remember Hopkins shouting advice from his ringside seats for GBP fights but this was next level with floyd just walking around the ring where-ever he wants right there and taking away from the trainers time.

Floyd would never train someone on fight night, it would tarnish his image if they lost. His dad used to backseat train from the crowd too.

I don’t know man. I saw Barrios being busier the first 2 rounds, then every round after that I gave to Tank based on cleaner, more effective punching.

It is definitely annoying to see Floyd interrupt the corner like that - but I think he got something extra out of Tank, especially in the last round.

He told him he was losing and to "be great" and you could hear him shouting that during the 11th and Davis turned it up. I got a little hyped tbh, Always want to see the stars show that extra gear...reminded that he was the "challenger" and needed to finish strong regardless. Still annoying af though yes

I was thrown off by it at first, but Tank was going to stop Barrios anyways. Didn't make a difference to me.

I am of the different mind set, Tank was happy the way the fight was going before Mayweather injection, its only after mayweather told talk something that tank turned it up.

What was funny to me is that I was actually pretty impressed how maywaether was staying out of the way cause we all seen him in the past go to the corner and take over in the past but this time he was just watching from that corner post (which was weird already) but yeah like you said he just saw his investment losing and took actions.

However that action is what is unfair imo, what if Barrios was allowed a 4th cornerman who was able to go talk to showtime get their scorecards and then relay that information back to barrios and say "we are up by 7 rounds, just box him to a decsion" maybe Barrios wouldnt have got brave at all and try to trade instead would have held and box from the outside rest of the night.

also very imprssed with Barrios how he didnt tie up once.
