Thoroughly enjoyed this fight! Both guys were worth their money. Mario can hold his head high. He’s proven that sometimes people just don’t know what’s going to happen when two fighters meet. A lot of people on here quick to ridicule and dismiss a fighter. Styles make fights. Appreciate both guys for their efforts.
Barrios did put forth a great effort and Tank showed that he can carry his power and explosiveness into the championship rounds.
Surprise surprise Tank won via stoppage. CALLED it. Now what will all the delusional guys betting on Mario "No name Beat No one" Barrios say?
I think it’s fair to say that Barrios exceeded expectations, and we can’t always use the “no name, beat no one” logic to automatically write off a fighter. There are plenty of good fighters waiting to get the big opportunity that Barrios just got.
140 isn't for Davis. No way. That would never work out.
Tank has the power for 140, however the size disadvantage would be even tougher to overcome against guys like Josh Taylor and Jose Ramirez. His explosiveness is a great equalizer though.
Tank just showed the doubters he's the real deal. Sky is the limit for this young champion.
Is that why he ducked Teo, Haney, Garcia and Loma for this paper belt? the real deal huh ?! He did what Alvarez did, jumped over two weight divisions just to get a belt from a CHERRY.
