What hotly contested and highly competitive fight this was? Tank had to bite down and dig deep in order to win this fight.

Also, major kudos to Barrios for putting up such a spirited and courageous effort. His physical size of height, reach and length kept Tank off balance for much of the night but in the end Gervonta Davis prevailed.

So congratulations champ on becoming a three divisional world champion and also great effort by both men on producing such a good crowd pleasing fight!

Very interesting fight, I had Barrios ahead at the time of the stoppage but the shot selection got to him.

Well somebody must have forgotten to tell Barrios then because his performance wasn't anywhere near or close to being a bum here tonight. He came to fight and win. You are such a terrible troll?

Tank showed a lot of wrinkles in this fight, defensive and offensive wise. He is very powerful and precise, kudos to Barrios in his losing performance.

Haney, Valdez, Loma, Ryan Garcia, Mikey Garcia, Teofimo, Jamel Herring, they’re all big fights. Will Tank fight any of them next?

Tank should've ended this in the early rounds. This was a disappointing performance but the KO will cover up his flaws and people will forget how bad he looked. As long as he can keep bringing in fans in certain markets then I can only assume his next opponent will be another carefully selected PBC fringe contender for some made up world title.

I don't see tank fighting anyone on ppv that isn't mexican so mikey or Ryan could happen.

The worthless title notwithstanding, the decision to jump 2 weight classes to fight Barrios was bold. Barrios is one of the quickest, skilled, and tallest Jr Welterweights. If another Jr. Lightweight-Lightweight fought Barrios as their first fight at 140, they’d get their props. I understand the frustrations in the matchmaking in Tank’s career, but this wasn’t one of them.

Tank’s defense, range closure, explosiveness, and ability to impose his will was impressive considering the advantages Barrios had. He’s a star and about as experienced as he’s going to be to fight elite opposition.

With Mayweather/Ellerbe moving his career, I wouldn’t rule out Tank Davis vs. Gary Russell Jr. That said, after what they saw tonight, they should be encouraged about putting him in with the top Lightweights and this is the perfect time to have Davis-Haney,
