    2. On the all time Mexican boxers list, I’d have Barrera, Morales and Marquez a bit higher. Barrera and Morales fighting 3 times along with Barrera beating Hamed and Morales beating Pac in the first fight ….plus Marquez fighting pac 4 times and the Barrera all surpass anything that anyone on that list has done when it comes to truly challenging yourself against the best when they were at their best.

    absolutely, wtf?

and fair point regarding the 3 amigo's

that is debatable, but fair point there

I wouldn't argue with Canelo edging the 2nd, but those other four you mentioned fought amongst each other multiple times, and most of those fights involved prime vs prime. Canelo's a great fighter, but let's keep it real, bro'. Let's not discredit the sweat and guts left in the ring by these other fabulous fighters.

      1) forcing a fighter to wait 1 year... is the weakest excuse I have ever heard to undermine a fighters performance... GTFOH

      2) FACT: Bullshltkin could have taken that fight whenever he wanted... TWO earlier negotiations broke down because Mr "anyone-from-154-168" was unwilling to be a man of his word... a few months after refusing to drop a single pound for Cotto and Canelo... Golovkin stated
(at the Kell Brook press conference) that he was willing to fight at 154, but nobody will step up LMAO

you are busily churning out the usual casual-fan nonsense

He definitely has some and I meant big help in fights against ggg I and Lara. there's no way he won those fights,. You mention the "achievements" but nowadays they don't mean the same. He fought a drunk way past his prime in kovalev, on top of that the guy was on a grueling match just three of four weeks prior. He did won the 168 division and is looking for unification, very commendable. The 154 division was Lara's and after the robbery he never looked his way. 160 he waited out ggg and still lost the first fight. We all know what happened with floyd, and still one judge saw a draw. stay safe.
He beat Lara clean. Go back and tell me what seven rounds Lara won???

Because he didn't want Sulaiman pressuring him to finish negotiations with the mandatory Golovkin for a fight to be held that spring or fall, Alvarez dropped the WBC belt in May 2016 (do you remember the "Give me my belt" memes?). He eventually fought GGG in September 2017. That's actually more than a year. For the typical boxer over 30, that's not insigificant. So I disagree with your assessment of that tactic in this case.

Also, when Golovkin was in his prime, Alvarez sat at 155 Canelo-weight for 1 or 2 fights, maybe more.

FACT: a few months after Mr " anyone from 154-168 " totally refused to drop a single pound for Cotto and Canelo... Bullshltkin publicly stated that he is willing to fight at 154, but nobody will step up... LMFAO

FACT: " old " Bullshltkin... was willing to fight at 154, just not against 153lb Cotto or 155lb Canelo... only against his usual level of scrubs and no-hopers

FACT: you cannot make that shlt up

it is fkn hilarious that Mr "anyone from 154-168" was... " prime "... when Canelo was at 155... but as soon as Canelo moved to 160, Bullshltkin immediately got old

You go back and show me how many rounds canelo won. And that 119-111 card was a disgrace. The rounds that he "won", he didn't do ****, Lara took those rounds off, ginger looked like a electrical fan, hitting air. he was outclassed and look how carefully he is been matched since that fight. I don't think he will fight another slick lefty its prime, ever again.

I never stated that Golovkin suddenly got old. Regardless of this 154-168 blurb, Canelo dropped his WBC belt in May 2016 and did not fight GGG until Sept 2017. My contention is that Canelo (GBP more accurately), waited him out. And only took the fight when they knew GGG was past prime.
