Comments Thread For: Jeison Rosario: Charlo Fight Was The Fluke; Winning Titles From Williams Wasn't The Fluke

Jeison Rosario intends to show Saturday night that he is much more the fighter that upset Julian Williams than the boxer Jermell Charlo knocked out in his last fight.

I wonder if Rosario got checked out, because that was so weire, the way he got knocked out with a jab to the body.

He looked like he got shot with a bullet from a magnum. But Lubin also, dropped like a sack of potatoes against Charlo.

Rosario has a punch to hurt Lubin. With the way boxing is today though, unless you're at the very top, fans don't really continue following fighters who had a bad loss.

Lubin has more of a reason to feel that his loss to charlo was a fluke. Rosario got knocked around and then stopped by a jab. Seemed like making 154 was a problem for him.

Rosario is a rich mofo now in the Dominican Republic after that dollar conversion and taking a dive. The Charlo brand is needed for PBC’s contractual agreements with Fox and Showtime. Haymon couldn’t risk losing that fanbase to a no name Rosario. And Rosario was promised another payday. My theories are correct. How is Rosario getting another opportunity on a PPV Tank event? Haymon promised “banana” and his team the bag. When I mean “Haymon” we all know it’s that undercover no-name middlemen speaking on PBC’s behalf. Floyd has investment in PBC. Of course he wants Haymon’s brand to succeed. It’s a platform for his future prospects. Imagine “banana” seeing a bag of undisclosed cash out of nowhere… no digital bookkeeping if you know what I mean..

I thought this was a 60/40 fight in favor of Lubin when it was made but as the fight approaches and I've heard both fighters speak, I'm thinking it's more 80/20 Lubin. Sure the Hammer is chinny but he's on another level skill-wise.

I will go Lubin in 5 or 6.

Rosario wins this fight. His next fight should be either Gausha or Lara.

Lubin had a long road back with some scares along the way. Both these guys can be hurt but it seems like Rosario has been on a wobbly legs everytime he gets touched...and then the bizarre jab KO. I'm going with Lubin

Rosario got knocked around? What fight were you watching? Also, if its a comparison you're making, Lubin was folded in round one...come on man...what you are saying makes no sense.
As for being knocked out by a jab I always felt like he took a dive which for a real fan sucks.

I was watching the fight where charlo knocked Rosario down in the 1st, the 6th and stopped by a jab in the 8th. If you get dropped 3 times in 8 rounds, it’s pretty fair to say you got knocked around. For lubin, he got caught with the perfect shot while he was cold, which is why I said he has more of a reason to feel it was a fluke. They could fight 50 times and chances are that won’t happen again. As far as taking a dive, you must be one of those tin foil head ass dudes believing in conspiracy theories. He didn’t take a dive. He was clearly drained trying to make 154 and couldn’t take a shot to the stomach. He looked drain for this fight too. Don’t be surprised if he’s stopped within 8 again.
