Crawford reminds me of Juan manuel Marquez.
Good but prices himself out. Then cries about ppl ducking him.
Sometimes you just need to take the best opportunity not necessarily the best money.
Marquez turned down a earlier Barrera fight.
Marquez turned down an immediate rematch with pacquaio.
Marquez turned down a morales fight.
Pacquiao took all those fights and made himself a star.
Then Marquez had to cry and beg pacquiao for the rematch that he turned down.
Marquez is lucky pacquiao gave him those rematches.

It’s pretty obvious that Crawford is the issue in a potential Spence fight. Spence has fought brook (while champion) in his backyard, Porter, Garcia1, Garcia2, and now Pacquiao. That isn’t the recent record of someone who is avoiding another fighter. Crawford simply does t care about getting the beat fights, he wants big money with low risk. Fans have to stop with this “legacy” argument….there are fighters who just don’t care about that. They want their accounts to read in the hundreds of millions and if it’s an easy route to that they’ll take it. Legacy does t create generational wealth. Legacy doesn’t pay for those presidential or yachtmaster Rolexes. Legacy doesn’t pay for those 8 bedroom mansions in Calabasas. Crawford is of this ilk.Last edited by Oldskoolg; 06-24-2021, 01:51 PM.Comment

The pbc orchestra avoided Crawford like 90 goin north!! They can’t risk Crawford holding every belt. All pbc ww would have to retire.

Spence offered Crawford 60-40 - Crawford rejected it and demanded 50-50.
Spence got another belt and said it's now 70-30. Crawford said "60-40 to me or NO FIGHT!!!"
Now, let's stop being a fanboy.
What justifies Crawford getting 50% or more against the unified champion?
Don't you DARE bring up anything other than his 147.Comment
