Yes. You are having a laugh if you can't see that Taylor, one of the handful of fighters to ever unify in the four-weight era, is considerably better than Horn. Taylor has gone to the backyards of a bunch of world class fighters and beaten them.

Horn left Australia once. To fight the one man who travelled less than him. I'm not going to say Horn was trash because that does him a disservice. Decent fighter, but limited. Not in the same class as Taylor.

      My view on this:

Taylor has fought better opposition than Crawford.

Crawford in all liklihood is the better fighter.

Which makes it all the more infuriating that it is Taylor who is angling for the fight.

The way to settle it is in the ring. Taylor is clearly willing to do that.

The question has to be asked of Crawford: when is he planning to fight someone good at WW? There is Oritz, there is Ennis, there is Taylor now, there is obviously Spence, Porter, Ugas, Thurman. Will he pick any of these? Arum is talking about Ramirez and Prograis...

He needs to either fight a live body or if he is claiming it's Top Rank's fault, then he needs to have a word with the person that extended the contract with Top Rank. Oh, that was him. What a waste of a spell in the WW division.

Just to give you some clarity, Crawford hasn't fought a world level fighter in 6 years. That was against Postal at 140. So if you're going on his performances against scrubs, do the same with Taylor. And Taylor looks much better than Crawford does. He gets them out of there quicker and looks more dominant.
I'm not doubting that, but you know like I know after Crawford beats the hell out of him, it will be "he's too small". Do you disagree?

So you'd let him step up and fight Crawford straight away without a feel up for how he is at the weight. and you LOL at my logic.

              Not at Top Rank!

Bob Arum On Crawford Vs. Porter: ‘Who’s Going To Pay For It?’

Terence Crawford’s promoter Bob Arum says he’d like to put a big fight together between him and his #1 contender Shawn Porter with the WBO, but he questions who would pay for the fight.

If Arum’s Top Rank company took the risk and came up with the money themselves, it would be a gamble. Arum said recently that he’d lost enough money on Crawford’s fights to build a house in Beverly Hills.

Would boxing fans purchase tickets in high numbers to see the Crawford vs. Porter fight, and would they be willing to purchase it on ESPN PPV?
“We could make a big fight vs Porter, but who’s going to pay for it?” said Arum to The Athletic.

“There’s a limit to what I can get out of ESPN. And on PPV… Crawford’s never done anything on PPV. Nothing against him. It is what it is.”

                you call that "nothing"? Really?
What I'm saying is his capabilities far outstretch his pursuit of absolute dominance. Both he and Crawford would do well to demonstrate the relentless push to clean the place out. They both have the ability but there doesn't seem the desire so far to stamp it all over history. I find that aspect of their primes frustrating.
Both are in danger of being swiftly forgotten when their time in boxing is over, despite their ability to be otherwise.
If the fighter's with the undeniable ability truly want it, they make it happen. Not these two, so far at least.

You're either blind or heavily - HEAVILY biased. And I don't think you're biased.

Errol Spence went over the pond to stop Kell Brook in his hometown to take back the IBF that Shawn Porter lost domestically. At the time, Brook was a Top 5 welterweight, undefeated in the division.

After that happened he specifically said #StrapSeason, he's coming for the belts.

He proceeds to beat mandatories and B-levels in his way, including Algieri who NSB said would outbox Spence. Manages to do what Manny failed to do along with Ruslan and everyone else - stop Algieri.

Gets called out by Mikey Garcia "daring to be great" - people pushing him to accept it even though Mikey doesn't belong at 147. Pitches a shut out. At the time, even the orgs considered Mikey a Top 5 welterweight.

Gets a title shot for the WBC against Shawn Porter, a Top 5 welterweight, who won it off a vacancy fight against Danny Swift, another Top 5 welterweight. Beats Porter at his own game and unifies two belts.

Manny Pacquiao beats Keef, a Top 5 welterweight, takes the WBA, then like a dumb ass, chases Ryan Garcia and gets stripped. Ugas gets elevated.

Spence, fresh off a major car wreck, washes a Top 5 welterweight in Danny Swift. So by this point Errol Spence has faced and beaten four Top 5 welterweights.

Spence on paper agrees to fight Ugas next to unify with the WBA.

Haymon pulls strings and gets Manny to agree to a fight with Spence. WBA apparently is not going to give Manny back the belt. But Spence AGAIN will fight a Top 5 welterweight.

Spence is the only welterweight actively trying to do what you talk about. He's fighting the Top guys in the division. He's asked repeatedly to fight Crawford, who said "50-50" when he didn't deserve it, Spence wins another belt and Crawford says "60-40 to me or NO FIGHT!!", then Arum comes out and says he's done losing so much money on Crawford.

Meanwhile, Crawford has yet to fight a Top 5.

Why, I ask you, are you ignoring the work Spence is putting in?

Make no mistake, Crawford isn't coming close to "Beating the hell out of him". When in against a world level fighter, you'll see why Crawford looks like that with past opponents. Everybody does. But against Gamboa and Postal? Not too hot.
