I agree on paper but how do we know how good Ramirez and Prograis are when they haven't fought anyone besides Taylor. Nothing else at 140 for them unless they're doing rematches. Move up and fight Bud now if that's how you feel. Don't talk like this and fight Catteral.

And what accomplishments would they be?

Crawford hasn't done anything in the sport. Everyone has proved more than him pretty much with his long string of bums.

Gamboa was a midget, but lit Crawford up for the first 4 rounds and clearly wobbled him. Against Postal it was a horrible performance with the crowd booing. Crawford acted like Postal had nuclear bombs for fists. So much for Bread claiming he has a mean streak. Against bums, yeah. But who doesn't? Don't rate Crawford one bit.

Taylor's opposition is vastly superior. And, done in a quarter of the time.

Crawford has enough comp at Welter, but for years he hasn't fought anyone? Do you even watch what is going on? It sounds like you don't.

Just to give you some clarity, Crawford hasn't fought a world level fighter in 6 years. That was against Postal at 140. So if you're going on his performances against scrubs, do the same with Taylor. And Taylor looks much better than Crawford does. He gets them out of there quicker and looks more dominant.

There's been a pandemic for everyone. It's Crawford's fault if he wants to play games and be a brat in wanting the full money otherwise he won't fight. That's on him. He could do like everyone else and make do with the circumstances.

Thing is Taylor's actually right, his route to undisputed was actually considerably tougher than Bud's, with the exception of the fact that he fought an older more shopworn Postol.... however that does not in any way mean that he is better than Crawford. It shouldn't take the fact that Crawford outclassed a younger sharper version of the Postol that Taylor struggled with to tell us that Crawford is a considerably more skilled fighter and at the very least as spiteful as Josh.and I'd have to suspect Bud would have made easier work of Barachyk, Ramirez and likely Rougarou too. Nonetheless that ain't what happened.

So yes, Taylor is correct but I would still put money on Bud beating him - and fairly comfortably - if they do actually get to fight. Still, you'll hear no complaints from me if it does get made and you certainly wouldn't be able to fault Taylor on his ambition
